A Must Have
"If you've purchased a motorized Goto scope from Celestron, this is an absolute necessity if you plan on observing from your deck/patio often. However, if the majority of your planned observing will take place in a field (i.e. far from an outlet). I would bypass this and go straight for the Power Tank or car adapter. Celestron burns me again!
"I purchased my telescope and saw how fast it went through batterys. To fix this I purchased a Power Pack for $80 bucks thinking that would be the answer, Wrong! the thing runs out of power very fast and takes a week to charge up with the cigarette lighter charger, (the wall plug-in will not work) So to fix this I bought the ac adapter and find that my telescope works much faster with the 8 double A's.
