"Having had both the Orion and Skywatcher Pro 80mm ED Scopes I can say that the Celestron is their equal in terms of optics and mechanics. It is a couple of pounds lighter due to its' smaller tube size and is therefore better suited for light duty mounts (such as my Orion Versago). "
