The Celestron cable allows NexStar-equipped telescopes to be controlled by a laptop computer or PC. Once connected, the NexStar unit can be controlled with popular astronomy software programs. This 62-inch cable connects to a PC's serial port.

Love the idea but....

"I control my ASGT using Starry Night Pro. It displays a crosshair on the screen. Simply point at any DSO and click, Scope slews right to it. Its usually pretty close. My only complaint is the length of the cable, it could be a little longer. "
