"Want to use your Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope as a super-telephoto lens? This is just the ticket! Allow any camera, via T-adapter, to attach to the telescope - a 5" scope becomes a 1250mm f/10; an 8" scope becomes a 2000mm f/10. Great for prime focus astrophotography or spying on people 2000 ft. away. Very well made and robust. Highly recommended...." Read Full Review »

simple and straight to the point, but...
"This item is made with heavy-duty metal enough to hold a heavy camera in place. This T-adapter is only 2" in length. Vibration is minimized because it is very short as compared to other T-adapters that extend at 4-5 inches from the back of the telescope. "I purchased this for a Celestron C8+. It works fine to connect my dSLR (with the addition of a T-Mount Adapter for my Nikon Camera).
It is simple to screw-in, it replaces the eyepiece adapter. I can unscrew the eyepiece adapter and screw this in, in the dark, without difficulty.
