"Use the scope mainly for wildlife observation in the open space beyond back yard. The other day kids and I observed a Red-Tailed Hawk lunching on a rabbit on a tree limb at about 100+ yards - the hawk and prey nearly filled the field of view at full zoom - clear, bright, and very "detailed".

"I used the scope to watch harbor seals breathe at possibly 200-300 hundred yards. It is bright and clear and focuses well. It would benefit from a steadier mount. With the adapter, it works fine for digi-scoping with my DSLR cameras. "
