Watch out for the screen

"Be careful: actual LCD screen does not look nearly as nice as the one on the picture. The text is actually black (no, you can't change the color) and rather pixelated or "digital" looking--not a smooth as the white text on the picture. It's even a different typeface! "Bought this to use at the beach since it was inexpensive, 4GB and used AAA batteries. It's inconvenient to wait for internal battery products to recharge. This is more of a storage device than an MP3 player. When browsing song files, the song playing gets all jittery while the device is trying to load the list of files. Navigation is terrible...."
