"Both my kids find this seat comfortable. Seems sturdy. Cup holder holds even heavy water bottles. This seat is a good buy. The color, however, is NOT KeyLime. The picture on the box shows a bright, peppy green. The best way I can describe the actual color is bile green. Good seat though if you aren't picky about the color...." Read Full Review

"When I received it, I thought I was sent a different color. Then I realized while reading the reviews again that somebody else mentioned about the color being slightly different from the picture. Well, it's different alright. The lining looks silver, not even close to that one on the picture. I tried to feel the boostear seat with my hand and it feels hard. It is not a bad product, but it isn't great either. It ..." Read Full Review
Pros:
"These wonderful booster seats have changed my family's life. My 3-year-old twin boys' previous car seats were enormous and took so much space that they made our large SUV seem tight. They were also limiting because my boys could barely move or reach for anything. The sense of freedom they felt when they got their new Dakota Backless Booster Seats was a true "kodak moment". I feel comfortable with how safe they are when used with a seat belt."

Cons:
"I was shopping for a booster seat, originally for a temporary use purpose because of a month-long out-of-country trip plan. Hauling a convertible seat around the world just isn't feasible, even though my 4yo daughter and I both love the convertible seat we regularly use. Besides, she will soon outgrow the height limit, yet far away from the weight limit of the convertible seat; getting a booster is inevitable in the near future. I was thrilled to find this well-reviewed/well-commented booster seat, which covers a much wider weight limit (i.e. starting at lower weight). The first time I let my daughter try to sit in it, she asked if she could keep it; the next day, she asked if she could continue to use it. It's lightweight, but very sturdy. Very easy to attach seat belt securely around my daughter. She said the booster seat was just as "cushy" and comfy as her big convertible seat. And on our trial ride to her daycare, she could not stop bragging to her friends about the new seat!"
Pros:
"My son loves this booster seat. We bought it to go in my husband's truck because he wanted one that looked good and wasn't big and bulky. The first time that my son sat in it he was so excited about how "cushy" it was. He also loves how wide it is. He loves going places in my husband's truck now. He can lean to the side with the shoulder strap on and see out the front and rear windows. He loves the extra "freedom" he has while wearing the "Mommy and Daddy" seat belt. I highly recommend this booster seat. I hope they get some prettier colors because I know that we will want one for our newborn girl in a couple of years, too!"
Pros:
"I have 3 boys, aged 4 and under, so I could not wait to have one less bulky seat in my car! This seat is so conveinent to move around within and between cars. It is reasonbly priced, yet doesn't feel cheap like a lot of backless boosters. It's safe, comfortable, and I can't wait to buy a second one when my two year old is big enough..."
Pros:
"I may be a Mom and have been for many many years, but I am new to travel. So when I scheduled my latest trip, I was nervous about travel on the plane and in new, very busy cities. This item was terrific. My daughter was comfortable for the many, many hours she spent in this seat due to the travelling we did. The seat was lightweight enough to be carried through the airports. Wherever she had to sit she used this seat because it also served as a booster seat outside a vehicle! All around, very satisfied with this purchase!"
Pros:
Cons:
"I like this care seat very much because it doesn't only secure my daughter properly, but my 3 and a half year old loves it! She is not able to unbuckle herself, which is the reason why I wanted it. With the regular full seat car seat she was able to get out of them easily. It is very comfortable and easy to install. My daughter also doesn't fight to seat on it and she feels like a "big girl" because it doesn't have a back and it actually raises her higher than the other car seats she's had."
Pros:
"We have two of these seats. They are light-weight and easy to clean. These are blow molded plastic, so are solid plastic outside and hollow inside. This is nice because there are no exposed ribs on the bottom of the seat. And that means they won't dig into your leather seats!!! There are also no sharp or rough edges to worry about. The only other seat I would consider is the [$]clek with a latch system. Not having the latch system is the only reason I gave this a 4."
Pros:
"I got these for my kids to replace their outgrown boosters. My kids love them because they have a broader range of "freedom" in these smaller, less restrictive seats. Since they are used with the existing seat belts in your own car, this booster is just like a "stepping stool" but for the car. I only wish that the bottom was slip resistant. They slip around a little if the back rest of the seat is reclined even slightly."
Pros:
"Finally after much searching, a larger booster car seat. Michigan law changed and now children up to 8yrs or 4'9" have to be in car seats. My 7yr old is tall for her age but not tall enough and we needed to find a new booster big enough. Definitely bigger than the standard graco/envenflo big kid booster.Cup holders and arm rest are not as nice. But she's big enough to reach the regular cup holders in the van. My daugher is not happy with the "boy" color choices"
