"I like this curling iron. I'm Asian, and I have thick, coarse hair. I use it to curl the last few inches of my hair. This iron is big enough to give that loose wave. It heats up very quickly, and also works effectively. Normally it won't take more than 20 mins to curl my hair with it, which is great."

"I have to say I haven't owned a curling iron in about 15 years and I love this one. I haven't put much effort into my appearance for some years now but my kids are coming close to all being out of the house and it's time I started and this curling iron is perfect. I have thick, long, semi-wavy hair and it works wonderful. One of the other reviews said the curls came out quickly...........I think that's her hair or she put too much hair into the curling iron because it happened to me too and when I put less into the iron the curls lasted quite some time. I also probably had "virgin" hair when I first got the curling iron and it took a couple uses for my curls to really hold but that's about it. It also makes my hair feel GREAT!"

"This is the best curling iron in the world. I have owned probably close to 50 curling irons, and always go back to this one. I even take it to my salon when I get my hair done quarterly. Salon curling irons are too hot and damaging to the hair. This one is not. I usually buy two at a time, one for home and one for away. I do not know what the longevity is suppose to be, but if I can get a curling iron to work for three years, I am happy. I have had the airport lauggage handlers distroy three of these curling irons, where the handle separates from the ceramic part of the curling iron. So now I always put the curling iron in my carry-on, and have not had a problem since. Great product!"

"I have wavy hair...this curling iron does a great job at turning my unruly waves into big lushious curls that looks sooo natural...I love it...it also gives a nice shine to the hair making it look healthy and also adding volume. I don't use any hair products with this curling iron because it does a great job by itself (at least for me). I guess someone with straighter hair would need extra products to hold the curls. Just a tip: it works a lot better when the hair is completly dry."

I purchased it at a store in NY and loved it, but the honeymoon didn't last too long because I believe I purchased a defective one. I turned it on one day and it didn't go on. "I have always used this curling iron and love it!! I have owned 3 of them and love how they make my hair look. I use it everyday to take the frizz look out of my hair and put a slight curl in it. My only complaint is that on all 3 of these irons the spring under the clip continually slides out. The last one I owned only for 2 months when the screw stripped and the spring wouldn't stay in the little plate and broke. Other then that I still continue to use it cause i love it and the price is great to!!"
