"You can ignore their "best in the nation" claim because El Milagro and El Ranchero beats Xochitl. I am used to fresh locally produced thick crunchy chips that are made with coarser ground corn flour. El Milagro and El Ranchero have a big nutty taste (a bitlike good popcorn sometimes), Xochitl don't taste like much and add something odd that makes me wonder if they mean the mineral lime instead of the fruit lime...." "I never write reviews for anything but I had to add my unbelievable adoration for these chips! Xochitl, where have you been all my life? I thought I'd have to spend the rest of my life eating Tostidos but then all of a sudden, here you are and I will NEVER buy any other brand. The thinness and crunch is terrific. I don't like a lot of salt but I just tried the salted variety and I found that it was the perfect amount of salt, definitely not overkill the way most tortilla chip brands do it. I'm so impressed and I'm going to recommend them to everyone I know. I feel like I just discovered a fabulous hidden treasure! These are to be savored. Hooray!"
Pros:
"These are the best corn chips I have ever had!!!! I love them because we can get them with no salt added, which is great for the kids, especially! They have great corn flavor. They are light and crispy and delicious! I have heard them compared to the fresh chips at Mexican restaurants, and while the flavor is very close, these are thinner and crispier, which I love! Great with salsas and cheese dips, love them with bean dips, too!"
Pros:
"These are very authentic tasting tortilla chips and taste the freshest out of all the store bought chips that I've tried ... and I've tried a ton. I love that they are super thin and crispy, but they can be hard to eat with chunky salsa. Still, it's worth it because they are so good!"
Pros:
Cons:
"These are very thin and light and crispy, with just the right amount of salt. Not overdone. They're not greasy. They are acutally dangerously good, because I will eat a whole bag of 'em if my wife doesn't stop me, or eat the rest of the bag herself! They're great with or without salsa. Even though they're super thin, They're not too weak to hold salsa."
Pros:
Cons:
"Okay, seriously. This is the best tortilla chip I've ever eaten. Very thin and crispy, they are light as air and taste so good, I literally ate HALF the bag last night - without even any salsa. I will never buy another brand of tortilla chip again. Xochitl has my heart... and my stomach."
Pros:
"Bought these on a recommendation while shopping at World Market. They are the best chips I've tasted. Sadly, the stores in my area have closed so I've had to look elsewhere to find these. If you are fortunate to have a store close by, I recommend giving these a try. Like others have said, they are very close to restaurant quality chips."
Pros:
"This is the best tortilla chip I have found. Its better than what some Mexican Restaurants serve. I have searched everywhere for a thin chip and this is it. It has the perfect amount of salt on each chip, taste great and stay fresh."
Pros:
"These chips are wonderful. They are very light and crisp. I love to heat them up and then dip them in my Salsa or with some type of cheese dip. The salt is not salty at all. I just love them."
Pros:
"I could not stop eating these chips with some fresh guacamole I made. But toward the end of the bag, I was left with a lot of small pieces because the chips are so thin. Still, they are good and one of the best chips around."
Pros:
Cons:
