"I never write reviews for anything but I had to add my unbelievable adoration for these chips! Xochitl, where have you been all my life? I thought I'd have to spend the rest of my life eating Tostidos but then all of a sudden, here you are and I will NEVER buy any other brand. The thinness and crunch is terrific. I don't like a lot of salt but I just tried the salted variety and I found that it was the perfe..." Read Full Review »

"You can ignore their "best in the nation" claim because El Milagro and El Ranchero beats Xochitl. I am used to fresh locally produced thick crunchy chips that are made with coarser ground corn flour. El Milagro and El Ranchero have a big nutty taste (a bitlike good popcorn sometimes), Xochitl don't taste like much and add something odd that makes me wonder if they mean the mineral lime instead of the fruit lime...." I thought I'd have to spend the rest of my life eating Tostidos but then all of a sudden, here you are and I will NEVER buy any other brand. The thinness and crunch is terrific. I don't like a lot of salt but I just tried the salted variety and I found that it was the perfect amount of salt, definitely not overkill the way most tortilla chip brands do it. I'm so impressed and I'm going to recommend them to everyone I know. I feel like I just discovered a fabulous hidden treasure! These are to be savored. Hooray!"

"These are the best corn chips I have ever had!!!! I love them because we can get them with no salt added, which is great for the kids, especially! They have great corn flavor. They are light and crispy and delicious! I have heard them compared to the fresh chips at Mexican restaurants, and while the flavor is very close, these are thinner and crispier, which I love! Great with salsas and cheese dips, love them with bean dips, too!"

I am used to fresh locally produced thick crunchy chips that are made with coarser ground corn flour. El Milagro and El Ranchero have a big nutty taste (a bitlike good popcorn sometimes), Xochitl don't taste like much and add something odd that makes me wonder if they mean the mineral lime instead of the fruit lime. Xochitl breaks up too easy. The bag was half full of little tiny bits of chips. I don't recommend Xochitl for nachos or salsa. I guess the pros are that they are based on a supposedly historically correct recipe, and they use all natural ingredients."

"These are very authentic tasting tortilla chips and taste the freshest out of all the store bought chips that I've tried ... and I've tried a ton. I love that they are super thin and crispy, but they can be hard to eat with chunky salsa. Still, it's worth it because they are so good!"

"These are very thin and light and crispy, with just the right amount of salt. Not overdone. They're not greasy. They are acutally dangerously good, because I will eat a whole bag of 'em if my wife doesn't stop me, or eat the rest of the bag herself! They're great with or without salsa. Even though they're super thin, They're not too weak to hold salsa."
