"The review about the 5/8 arbor is very misleading. That is why I felt compelled to actually write a review. The saw comes with a 1 inch arbor blade and that is what it uses. The inner blade washer is machined to accept 1 inch arbor blades. I could easily afford any miter saw but I saw good value in this saw. "I looks like a lot of thought went into the saw. That is until you get to the 5/8's arbor. It really limits you to your choices in blades. I'm about to move the nearest Sears store will be over 75 miles away. It would have been nice to had a saw that you could have picked up a new blade for at a small mom and pop hardware store.
