"My new Cuisinart CPT-140 wide slot toaster is another Cuisinart I've added to my kitchen electrics. The wide self-centering slots really do accomodate bagels, and using the bagel setting really does as advertised by making sure you have a warm bagel all the way through and toasted the way you like it. "I have read all the bad reviews about this product but did not listen, thinking that Cusinart is a dependable brand name. It is really a nice looking toaster but it just doesn't heat up evenly.
