If you don't want to worry about hooking up both tubes, just hook up the exhaust - the portable air conditioner will run a bit less efficiently, but it will still cool just fine! Another advantage of this portable air conditioner is its tankless nature. Many portable air conditioners require you to empty a water tank as often as once every few hours.
