"I got this in Shimmer, hoping it would be a very lightweight coverage powder. It doesn't cover anything, as it's basically a translucent powder. That was okay with me too, but the thing that really gets me is the insane amount of glitter in it. It's not a pretty dewey look, it's huge chunks of glitter all over your face. I wish it was more finely milled. Also, the kabuki it comes with is too big for the containe..." Read Full Review

"Shimmer makes me look like a pasty vampire. I hate it! The bronzed is good but you have to be careful not to go overboard or you will look like you are fake baked. DO NOT buy the brozed if you have fair skin. You'll look stupid."
Cons:
"I LOVE this product. It makes my skin look flawless. It add the foundation look without the mix matched colored skin.. It blends perfectly.. Im Medium brown African American(Nia Long) with red untertones."
Pros:
"I've been an E.L.F. customer for a little over a month now, and in that time, I've put in three or four orders, each time trying something different.
Since I'd already purchased the mineral makeup starter kit and had great results with that, I thought I'd give this bronzer (I got the shimmer version) a try. When I got my box in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised. The size of the mineral makeup was larger than those that were in the starter kit.
I would recommend the starter kit for those just wanting to try this (mineral makeup) product out, particularly if you have had bad results with other mineral makeups, or just want to give this one a try. If you've already tried it and had the kind of results I had, then move on to the full-sized products and buy this shimmer, and any other mineral makeup product that ELF sells (including the blush, foundation, and concealer).
This particular product is easy to use, and there is plenty of it. I layer it over the top of the over ELF mineral makeup to give my face an all-over-shimmer type of finish. It is light, but gives my face a beautiful sparkle.
Compare the price of this to other mineral makeup brands and I guarantee you that you'll love this. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin and none of ELF's products have given me any issues. No irritation, no breakouts - I'm loving this stuff. When they say hypoallergenic, they mean it."
Pros:
"I've bought mine almost a year ago but I think it is a good product...I don't really use it to bronze myself but I did like it as a highlighter and contour. I don't know if there is any shimmer in them now because the ones I have are pretty matte (i know elf seems to change their products from time to time and they also seem to love shimmer since a lot of their products are like that) but not dull and flat. They give off good enough color to help define your features. I wish they came in just a couple more shades like a skin tone shade and one that is just a little deeper brown because those would be nice for a night time look.
I can understand how some people might not like them as a bronze/tanning powder because I couldn't even use it for that and I am medium skin tone. So instead of dusting it all over your face try contouring with it instead. and if the glow shade is too light for what you were thinking use it to highlight by dusting a little on your t zone and cheeks"
Pros:
"I've searched for so long for a powder that will give me the coverage I want with a nice look to it. I have combination/oily skin, so I found this powder to be great for my skin type. Overall this powder has really good coverage, I love the soft sparkle, and it gives an airbrushed look, I really do love this product and will continue to buy it! I used to use Iman, but this is cheaper, so I'll stick with it."
Pros:
"I originally purchased the Shimmer Glow, since it was winter. It goes on well, adds a nice sparkle and isn't overly obvious. I then purchased the Bronzer. It's a little dark for my skin tone, but I can use it if I am very careful. The bronzer doen't have any shimmer to it, but I will try mixing it with the shimmer to both lighten it and give it some sparkle. I prefer the regular e.l.f. bronzer, but will probably use this bronzer more for contouring."
Pros:
Cons:
"If you're not a fan of loose powder, this probably isn't for you because you would have to dust a lot of the powder off your brush in order to get the right amount on your cheek (especially with the bronzer).
I have the bronzer and it goes on sheer (again, with the right amount) and give a nice subtle tint to my fair skin. It can easily go on dark with incorrect application, so you should learn to put on bronzer. Also it's great for sensitive skin."
Pros:
"This is a nice bronzer, but as a woman of color I prefer a little 'shimmer' to my bronzer. Unfortunately, this had no shimmer to it whatsoever. Not a problem since I added a bit of my own shimmer, so I'll still rock it. So if you like a matte-looking bronzer, this one is for you."

I would only wear this to a club, and rarely at that."
