ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder

"I really like this product, especially the Matte Bronze. When I first opened the product, I was upset because it had flecks of glitter in it. However, the glitter doesn't show up on the skin. Matte Bronze blends in beautifully and never looks too dark or fake when I use it for contouring.



The other colors give you a sun kissed glow. I typically apply it on the apples of my cheeks whenever it's sunny outside. Next time I order online, I'll definitely be stocking up on Matte Bronze."

"I started using this Bronzer a year ago... ITS THE BEST!! I have used [$] bronzer's, they don't work like this one!! "I choose Luminance as a highlighter. It's awesome! This time the [$] line was a full sized product. It gave me a great glow and blended in well. I used it on my cheekbones, forehead, nose bridge and chin with E.L.F.'s Studio blush brush. I then buffed finish the look with E.L.F.'s kabuki brush. It's not really shimmery, it gives my skin a healthy moisturized look, so i don't look glittery. This would be awesome on your legs for the summer to highlight muscle tone."

"I have this in sunkissed and luminance. Sunkissed it the perfect mixture of a great bronzer and blush in one color. It's not exactly a complete tan color because it sort of adds a light rosy glow to the cheeks. Luminance is a nice cheekbone highlighter for my skin color that made my skin glow in pictures. Fairly good pigmentation. Luminance is more soft and powdery than sunkissed, but I love sunkissed more."

"I got this Bronzer in sunkissed because its the most popular one that everyone gets. IT ISNT AS RED AS IT IS IN THE PICTURE which is a good thing. then it would be a blush, not a bronzer. it looks a lot more like Warm Tan in the picture, which is the one i was about to get. Which I'm so glad i didn't ! Its so dark, and sun kisses is just a nice shimmery tan !"

"This is a pretty good bronzer. It's lightweight and you can't beat the price. I'm African-American, and pretty wary of bronzers because I think they tend to make my oily skin look even oilier, but this is a good product to use. Doesn't look cakey, or too shiny...just the right amount of glow. The only problem I have is with the construction. The powder cracks easily and created a huge mess in my makeup bag."

"After reading many reviews I finally decided to try the bronzing powder in Sun Kissed. I am a medium dark toned African American female and was impressed with how it instantly brightened up my face. I put a little on my cheeks, and on the bridge of my nose. I love the size of the compact. My skin is very sensitive so if in a couple of days I still have no break-outs I will say I will be ordering more. I'll send out an update for all my fellow people with sensitive skin. "THANK YOU ELF for finally having a MATTE bronzer I can use for contouring! I am sooo happy I didn't commit myself into buying expensive brand name products just to acheive the "contour and highlighted" look. I wanted that look so bad, and now I can acheive it for a few dollars. Its great because I can use the Matte bronzer to contour and luminance to highlight--both are great products! Matte bronzer is important for contouring because if its shimmering, it beats the purpose of "shadowing" your face because shadows don't shimmer!!! Anyway, matte bronze is somewhat thick, not flakey like luminance, and it has gold sparkles in it, but barely, so its still matte. Also, the color is pretty dark, so be careful not to put too much on your brush or it would look soo unnatural on your face. BLEND BLEND BLEND! and add a highlighter and blush to finish the look, it would look fake without it! I wouldn't recommend wearing matte bronze by itself as an everyday bronzer, I think its way to dark, esp if your trying to acheive a "sunkissed glow" but its GREAT for contouring that looks good in photography etc."

"I have olive-ish medium dark Asian skin tone. I ordered all three colors and don't like any of them much (as bronzers).

Sun-Kissed was too red for me, I guess it's okay as a blush, but it really doesn't look like a bronzer at all.

I think I might use Luminance when I want some shimmer, either over my cheeks or on my eyelids (as a highlighter).

I like Warm Tan the best, sometimes it's a bit dark as a bronzer on my cheeks, but it works okay. When I use Warm Tan as an eyeshadow, i LOVE IT. It's a great, coppery, summery eyeshadow. It lasts pretty long too.

All of them are more loose powder than a compact, because as soon as i swept my brush across the surface it started breaking apart. pretty soon the whole thing was cracked and powdery. It's a little annoying but its not unbearable.

I don't like the smell, some people like it but to me it smells cheap. I'd rather it just smelled like regular makeup. But it's not that bad.

Overall, I would say only buy this if you're really looking for something cheap to mess around with. Get the Warm Tan for a great eyeshadow, other than that I'd get a bronzer that blends better and has better colors."
