Euro-Pro Bottom Emptying 3 Speed Electronic Cordless Sweeper, Blue

"I have been using these vacuums now for about 4 years. They have helped me so much. This new model is great. It's important to me that my floors are clean. However, it is such a challenge to constantly pull out the regular vacuum cleaner. The shark vacuum does a great job between regular cleanings. There are 2 problems that I have found with it:

1) A little confusing trying to figure out the way the plug goes into the sweeper whenever you need to charge it.

2) It does not pick up real well when the cleaner is moving backwards, towards you.

Overall, this is a must have product! Especially if you're like me, and have small children."

"If you have pets, ESPECIALLY long-haired pets .... you've GOTTA get this machine for quick pick ups!!! (It won't replace your big machine, but it sure helps between vacuumings.)

I have 2 cats, and got this to do quick sweeps around the litterbox, and to pick up cat hair on the kitchen throw rug, etc. between REGULAR vacuuming with my big machine.

I use it EVERY day, and am AMAZED at all the cat hair, and dust it picks up daily!!! Every time I dump it I actually exclaim "WOW!!!"

However, if you run over a string or cord, or get a sock or something large stuck in it, I would recommend getting the replacement agreement for several dollars more. It's too small to fix, but more expensive than just trashing it if it breaks due to something you've run over, and gotten stuck in it.

It has 3 speeds, at the touch of a foot. Also the improved design over last year's model... now you can dump it without even bending over, or getting your hands messy!!! Just step on the foot pedal, then carry it to your trash can. Then flip the lever on the lower section of the metal handle. Voila! Dirt gone! I also like that the recharging is done with only a cord, and not a charger it must be plugged into. However, I wish the cord plug had a marking on it (like a big dot or something?) to let me know which direction it goes in the tiny hole, when you want to plug it into the machine.

Maybe next year's model? :-)"

"This is our third one of these in five years. Our first lasted ok the belt broke once but eventually the battery would not hold a charge and the motor was weakening. The second one was an improved design, we especialy liked the charging base that you could just put the unit on and it would charge. The third one we have currently and while it again is an overall quality improvement the bottom cleanout is not realy that necessary and there is no charging base like the last one we had. In my opinion the charging base was a better feature than the bittom emptying feature. My wife feels she could do without the bottom emptying feature completely and would much prefer the charging base."

"I love my Euro pro sweeper. I use it everyday on my kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room floors. Great tool to use in between vacuuming. It is very light and easy to use. It picks up cat litter on both carpets and floors. In the kitchen, I can get the stuff along the baseboards and under the cabinets and in corners because of the rotating outer brush. It really does work! Goes from carpet to floor effortlessly and is quiet. It's great at picking up hair (human and cat) and picks up practically anything. The only thing I don't like is I have to empty the tray a couple of times if I am doing my entire house. But when you see what this picks up, it will surprise you."

"I was so excited to try this vacuum! I wanted to use it to pick up the droppings my bunny leaves in the corner each day. The bottom emptying feature really appealed to me. I read the directions, charged it 24 hours, turned it on and swept one square foot of my carpet. That was all it could handle!!! It jammed up and turned off because it actually had to pick up something. I cleaned it out and tried again with no luck. Apparently this is not made for carpet use! I have returned mine to the store. Hope this helps any pet owners that are thinking of buying this. SAVE YOUR RECEIPT!"

"I am partially disabled and not young any more. I care for my own house but my dread of the week was to pull out my heavy sweeper, find an empty plug to plug it in...and then the physical strain! I have new carpeting and every day I buzz around with my EuroPro sweeper all around the house. Things look so clean and even my litle poodle isn't afraid of it like she was of my others. I know it isn't deep cleaning but it isn't pulling out hands full of nap either. Once a year I will have my carpets professionally cleaned, like before, but I celebrate not suffering so much!"

"With kids in the house, this is a very useful item. It is cordless so I can easily carry it from the kitchen into the den and even upstairs for a quick clean. It picks up everything even cereal from the kitchen floor which most other lightweight sweepers don't pick up. I am very happy with my sweeper, except that the handle is a little non sturdy and broke once; but they changed it for me. Even my 5 year old uses it to clean up her own messes!"

"great for everyday small clean up's just remember it's not a vacuum it's a sweeper. no suction.it's made to do light cleaning remember not to overcharge the battery by leaving it pluged in all the time. this will kill the life of the battery let it run down before you recharge it. it wont replace your vac. but you wont need to drag it out as often."
