"I get the product from my mother and I have to say I was not satisfied with new gift. I thought of it as another thing to save the space in my closet. When I used it for the first time i changed my opinion. Now I use it everyday for light cleaning. "I have owned 2 other cordless Shark floor cleaners. Both lasted approx. 3 yrs. This one broke within 2 months. I only use the floor cleaner to vacuum up crumbs, etc. after meals. The plastic tray on the bottom that releases to empty the dirt, etc. broke first. I still used it, but had to hold my hand under the tray to keep it from falling in the trash. I don't always have the time to sweep with a broom and by using the Cordless Shark, I am able to pick up all of the dirt in a quick sweep. It also works pretty well on the carpeting.
