"The Frigidaire 6000 BTU air conditioner works very well in a 12'x14' room. The thermostat control goes down to 60 degrees F for fast cooling. The remote control works nicely, and the price is reasonable, even with the shipping charge. I had no problems installing it, and it looks good too."

"We bought this because [...] listed it as an energy saving best buy, but we regret it. It's extremely noisy and very weak. Our bedroom is about 15 x 12 and it barely cools it down. Also, it's taller than the last air conditioner I owned, which obstructs more of the light through the window. And the hardware it came with was inadequate for installation and we had to run out and buy different screws even though our window is quite standard. So beware."
