"I like the space-saving features, and both appliances do an excellent job on the laundry. The only complaint I have is that the installers did not take out all the safety bars before they left, nor did they tell us to remove them from the washer. When we ran the first load, the washer started jumping... .Note: This reviewer may have received a benefit, like a sweepstakes entry or rewards program points, in exc..." Read Full Review

"This washer/dryer combination has a problem with the lint system-everytime i dry a load of clothes,i have to wipe off the dryer door and all around the dryer vent-it gets lint all over, when it should be collecting in the lint vent only..." Read Full Review
"I think this washer and dryer is great, outside of the terrible buzzer. [...]Other than the buzzer issue, this unit is great. I had a GE space saver before this, and this unit cleans the clothes much better. It actually seems to remove many stains and what not.The capacity of the washer is large, and the dryer is HUGE.If you are in the market for a new stack washer and dryer, I would recommend this one only if you do not have to have it in your main living area, as the buzzer is insanely loud. If you can wait, I would wait until the newer models come out, because I would imagine a volume adjustment or on off switch will be added."

What's hot? Apparently this review. Makes you wonder what everyone keeps talking about...

Cons:
"While I'm very happy about the capacity of this washer/dryer unit, not so with the lint collection design - totally unacceptable.
If anyone with any kind of respiratory issue is considering purchasing this item, think twice. The lint is collected in a small screen in the FRONT of the unit. Subsequently, the lint also collects inside the dryer door and all over the outside of the interior of the door as well. Additionally, there is excessive lint all over the lower level rooms of my townhouse. I must dust constantly. Further, I must have have my canister vacuum ready before I open the dryer door, it is that excessive due to the design."
"The front load design of the washer of this laundry center is a nice change from my previous 11 year old Frigidaire top load washer/laundry center. It holds more clothes, is more water efficient and easier on the clothes. It is quiet, except when it spins it sometimes rumbles a bit for a moment, but this is common with front load washers. The spin is super fast and extracts water from the clothes very effectively. The dryer also has a very large capacity although the laundry center is only 27 inches wide. The dryer is relatively quiet and dries very effectively. The noisiest part of the laundry center is the very noticeable buzz at the end of the washer and dryer cycles, but it does not really bother me since it is rather short in length and it does notify me of its completion."
Pros:
"Overall, a very good washer/dryer combo. It uses a lot less water than our 18 year-old top load did. The drying times are shorter because of this. We have a laundry "closet." It would be more convenient if the doors swung to the right instead of the left. The swing can't be changed. Also, the place we have it installed, I can't reach the water shut-offs which are behind the unit. I will have to do a little plumbing to fix this. Also, make sure if you have existing wiring for a dryer that both plumbing and wiring will reach. This unit uses the dryer circuit. I did have to move my outlet so I wouldn't have a long power cable across the floor."

"I bought this unit a month ago to replace an old washer/dryer combo that came with my condo. At first I was afraid this unit would be too big (the washer capacity is twice the size of my old one - old one was maybe 1.5 cubic feet), but it fit in the space pretty well. Yes, the buzzer is very loud, as others have said, but if I'm prepared for it going off it's not as bad (still should be quieter, though). I thought the dryer had an issue with long drying time but it turned out my dryer vent needed to be cleaned (a bird ended up getting stuck in the vent). Now, the clothes get dried in 2-3 hours. And this is with twice as many clothes in a load as my old washer, due to the bigger washer capacity (I now do 2 loads a week, as opposed to 4). So I'm happy with my purchase."
"I love that I managed to fit this into a pantry beside my fridge. The size is great & I'm happy with it's performance. Everything comes out clean and fresh!"
Pros:
"I just bought the unit in March, and I love it!! The stackable I had before didn't dry my clothes well at all which led me to hang them instead of throwing them in the dryer, I thought this was the way all the electric stackables worked, BUT I purchased this one and I love it!! Just like the other reviewers the buzzer will scare the bajesus out of you, because it is loud, and it buzzes when the clothes are done washing not just drying, I wasn't used to that. But it washes clothes and spin dries very well, and the dryer is full capacity I love it!! The guys who installed it were very nice also made sure it was set up correctly and everything!! Now I don't mind washing, I just make sure I am close by when it's almost done so I don't have to listen to the loud buzzer!! I stay in a condo so this is perfect!!"
Pros:
"Love the washer /dryer combo
It is really as quiet at it says
The dryer is quick and efficient
ONE PROBLEM!!
If you do not have Sears install it be careful to remove ALL the packing parts. There are two very large and heave metal rods that are not part of the machine; by not removing them you will find the unit bang uncontrollablly and loud, very, very loud. Once Sears came to check out the problem, the serviceman asked if Sears had installed the unit, when I said, "no", he immediately opened the front and proceeded to take out the metal packing rods (he obviously had done this before!)"
"Great size for stackable. I would recommend it to anyone that is confined with space. The washer spin cycle almost drys the clothes which makes the cost of dry time very managble. I've not experienced any smells or mildew and have left the clothes in the washer for 1+ days."
