The innovative BalanceBall Chair lets you reap the benefits of the popular BalanceBall right at your workspace. This patented design lets you do tension-relieving techniques while seated in the chair - or simply remove the ball to stretch and strengthen key muscles without a trip to the gym. Relieves stress on the spine. Helps prevent back discomfort and repetitive motion disorders. Helps prevent health issues related to poor posture. Illustrates non-impact strengthening exercises and stretching. Keeps you active, even on busy work days. Includes: Chair (some assembly required) Ball (40 cm) Pump Desk Top Guide When you sit in the BalanceBall Chair, the ball acts as a shock absorber and eases your body into an ergonomic position. When your muscles become stiff or whenever you want a break, the exercises in this guide will help you relax, build strength and foster a wide range of health benefits. Exercises performed with the BalanceBall in the chair offer maximum support, stability and convenience.  Exercises performed on the ball alone allow greater range of movement. The BalanceBall Chair was developed with Dr. Randy Weinzoff a pioneer in chiropractic care.  Trained at the acclaimed Palmer West University in California, Dr. Weinzoff runs his successful practice in Santa Monica, CA based on his philosophy of "Vitality through total alignment of the whole being." The BalanceBall Chair is not designed to fit persons 6' tall and taller or 4' 11" and shorter.
Warnings WarningsConsult your doctor before using the BalanceBall Chair or performing any of the movements in this guide. Perform movements to the best of your ability without strain. See the Care and Safety guide included with the chair for details.

Use it all day, every day!

"I have to sit at a desk all day on the computer and I sit on this chair at my job ALL the time! I've been using it about 3 years now. I have lumbar and knee problems and it really helps build up my quads to keep my kneecaps aligned. It's also the perfect height for my keyboard drawer. It takes some getting used to (build up gradually - don't try 8 hours the first day) and I find it helps to stand up and stret..." Read Full Review »

comfy but the wheels break

"A comfortable chair good for those who sit a lot, nice to switch to sometimes, keeps you in a good position. However the plastic wheels have plastic locks on them that lock easily and accidentally. when this happens and you try to roll they'll break, especially if there's a ridge on the floor or if you're on carpet. They are special wheels so you can't just grab some new casters at the hardware store, you hav..." Read Full Review »

"This chair is a great way to tone your core muscles while just typing away at work. However, if you have long legs you will tend to blow the ball up more which becomes butt-numbing after awhile. It's difficult to get right so I alternate with my static work chair. It helps my lower back problems by …"  Read Full Review »

"I bought this chair to sit on as I am at my desk 4-5 hours a day. I really like it! I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it is ugly and the wheel locks trip too easy.
