"Small diameter permits under-sink storage drawers. (The only reason I bought it). The original G.E.unit lasted three years before rusting solid to the outside enclosure. "Great for a smaller home/ kitchen. No frills, easy to install and gets the job done. Small in size, so fits easily into almost any area. Includes dishwasher hook-up.

I swear by most of GE's products. All of my home appliances are GE, no problems after four years of use on all new appliances. "

Rusted in 4 years

"The unit i have is gfc 525f,it is rusted to a point that it is stuck won't turn,broom stick don't work tried it several times.There is no reset switch or place to use allen wrench on bottom of unit to try and free up the turn table.It is 4 years old? "
