A nice disposal
"This disposal works just fine. Installation was easy, although getting it to firmly seat in the mounting bracket took some effort. The fact that it has fiberglass body is nice. No more rusting. Broke twice in four years
"This disposal was new when I bought my condo (also new). The impelers broke after the 1-yr warranty ran out. I live in a condo building with 32 units, and nine of us had to replace the impeler part of the disposal just after a year. Now mine broke again, only this time the motor burned out. Excellent Disposal
"We switched from a Maytag disposal due to the noise of the the prior unit. The GE disposal is very quiet and the hook-up was very easy. In total the time to remove the old unit and replace the new one including dishwasher connections was about 30 minutes. "

"Good drop in fit as a replacement for a troublesome and overpriced ISE. Much quieter than expected and the higher 2700 rpm makes sense as it doesn't cause as much low frequency vibration as the old ISE did that quite literally shook the plumbing loose. "Replaced a 14 year old smaller model by same manufacturer. Found the new one much easier to install, especially the sink mount. Easily matched up with old plumbing and dishwasher drain. Quiet and powerful. Not a bad job for a 70+ novice repairman. "
