"We had a GE Spacemaker oven that we had used for years and was satisfied with it. However it didnt have digital controls. The bottom of the old one had started to crack inside, so we thought it was time to get a new one. The amazing thing was that the new one fit perfectly in the space where the old one was. "This is the second GE unit I've had in this space. The first unit quit working after about 8 years ( probably an earlier model). I replaced it ~jan 2007 with this model since it fits exactly into the builtin space. Few months ago my wife pointed out paint is peeling on the top inside - right over the food.
