"I bought this product for my daughter's birhtday and after about 1 week the CDs would not read. I returned the bad one and got a new one, and about a month later one of the microphones stoped working. I kept this one because she could still play CDs and use one microphone. A few months later the other microphone went out too!"

"My 3 year old loves this thing. I have to change the CDs for her because the way the CDs go in- it seems very flimsy and can easily be broken. Other than that- it was not OVERLY expensive and I got what I paid for. When she gets older- that is when I will spend more on a better one. But for her pre-K Karaoke days- SHE ROCKS OUT ON THIS THING with all her Pre-K buddies. To say the least- it is as fun for them as it is for us. I would have bought it again in a heartbeat despite the "cheap" reviews. Also, didn't come with AC/DC adapter- so it runs on batteries until I go get an adapter. That is a little annoying."

"I bought this CD player on line and I was to get a Barbie Glamor Kit since I had spent over [$]. To my surprise when it arrived I had 2 CD Players and no glamor kit. I had figured out that by getting both it wasn't a bad price. Not noting that there was no power cord and being that Christmas packages were being opened at 6:00 Christmas Evening my little one was very disappointed that we could not find any batteries to fit it until going to 12 different places and they were terribly expensive!! She loved it once she started to play with it, but it soon stopped working correctly, even with new batteries. That is an awful amount to pay for something that only works for less than 24 hours of play time. [...]"

"Product looks very well put together but a couple things I find difficult when using it that is:

1. The CD to play takes a lot of adjusting before it will read.

2. The microphones is kind of hesitant when using one with the other more sound from one that the other when it should be equal sound."

"This had bad reviews so I was skeptical of it being a good product. My niece who is 4 yrs. old loves it and plays with it all the time!"

"My 5-year old just loves this as a CD player. The buttons are large and clearly marked, and the sound quality is pretty good. I am confident in her ability to use this on her own without needing assistance, which isnt the case with most of her electronics. The microphones have adjustable volumes, and they do not get that loud (thank god), and because there are 2 of them, it is great for her and her friends.

It did not come with an AC adapter, but I found one that would work."

"We got this item on Tuesday. My daughter LOVED it and had so much fun with it...until Friday of the same week when it broke! It now plays 1 or 2 songs and then it just stops spinning. It's not losing power and everything else works, so I have no idea why it's randomly stopping. We're taking it back this weekend and hoping to exchange it for the hello kitty one, which also has bad reviews...I'm not optomistic we'll end up with a unit that works."

"My five yr old received this last Christmas, and it while it worked it was easily her favorite present. It was very easy to use, the sound was surprisingly good, and it wasn't too heavy for even her scrawny arms to lug around. But about 4 months after Christmas, the CD player merely stopped working. No matter what it wouldn't read CDs anymore, rendering it useless. My daughter was terribly disappointed, and for the price I felt like it should have lasted longer."

"It works fine for my 6 year old. The microphones are pretty weak, but she doesn't seem to mind. My biggest complaint is that there is no adaptor plug. Which means the batteries are being replaced all the time. For the price it should come with it. I do have one that works with it, but it's for my stereo so I wish it came with it's own. Otherwise it is good for elementary aged girls. Preschool aged girls may not be able to figure out how to work it."
