"I loveee these sneakers...i usually wear my vans slip on checkerboards...but the second i got these in the mail, i was in love. they make anything you wear have a casual skater type look... which for me is perfect. only cons are that they feel a .little small and they are a bit narrow. "These shoes work for just about anything! Camping, shopping, and tons of other things. The shoes do stain, but if you use shoe cleaner, you will be fine with them to last for a long time!

"When i first got the vans sk8 highs, i thought that they were sweet. They are really comfortable, and the cushioning felt great around my ankles. The one thing that i noticed that does ruin the shoes is if you go skating with them! Do not go skating with these shoes! When i started skating with these shoes, the inside of the shoe started to rip, including the leather. And i also recommend to use these when you are going out and not walking long distances. The sk8 highs look great, especially if you are wearing skinny jeans, because of the fact that you can make the tongue stick out as far as you want it to. The unique checkered design and the cool tongue with the comfortable leather cushion in the inside, make the vans sk8 highs a must buy for an avid collector of unique shoes."

"I have to pairs [in different prints] and I am pretty impressed by these shoes. When I first got them, they were stiff for about a week, but it eventually gets worn in. The white rubber walls on the shoe stains/gets dirty easily, and I know some people mind that. Dirt WILL show one the suede [or faux-suede, I don't know]. But overall, these are some neat shoes."

Love These!
"I wore these to school, ran in them for PE, and walked around in them before a concert. They were so comfortable, and in addition to that, they were really cute. I got positive comments about them.
Of course after 8 months of use, they wore down, and became slightly uncomfortable while in the mosh pit. And another thing, don't jump on metal grates when it's raining, they slip"
