"I've been using Giro (bike & ski) helmets for years. The Recruit helmet has the quality I've come to expect from Giro. It's very well-designed & very comfortable. My kids love the great fit & style. It's not too bulky & works very well with Smith goggles. For the price, you won't find a better helme …"  Read Full Review »

"Our 6 year old started skiing last year and we got tired of renting a helmet for [$] a pop. This helmet fits him really well and he likes it, which means we can enjoy skiing without worrying. "I purchased this for my 8 1/2 year old son in the size L. He is at the beginning of that sizing range, but this was just too big, especially the chin strap. "These helmets are a great value - cheaper than a 3-day rental. They are comfortable, warm, and worked well with goggles. However, they were difficult to adjust. This didn't seem to be a problem since it fit well for my kids without any adjusting. "
