"I recently went on a four day tour on a tundra buggy in Churchill Manitoba to photograph the Polar Bears and being this was my second trip I knew I needed a stable platform for my Canon 500mm lense mounted on my Canon 5D. Knowing that there would be other people on board the vehicle a tripod would n …" Read Full Review »

I use it for sports photography with a Nik …" Read Full Review »

Gitzo GM2541 Series 2 Mountaineer Carbon Fiber Monopod, Maximum Height 63" Review
Pros
Cons
Best Uses
"My previous monopod though good, is too long and heavy to be consider compact. Gitzo 2541 6X monopod gives me the sturdy feel, and very secure with big lenses. The folded length and weight are negligible, and the belt clip that comes with it is of brilliant yet simple design that works! "
