"The product is great, especially for the price. The only bad thing is that the bench seat is a little flimsy; tillting left to right quiet a bit. Besides that I love this machine, it is one of the greatest all in ONE workout machines I have ever come in contact with. THANKS ALOT..." Read Full Review

"Just purchased this system and had lots of fun setting it up (just kidding). It took me almost 10 hours to set-up. In addition, the pulleys are sticking. I have tried penetrating lubricant and it helped a little. My next step is to try some of the grease that came with the machine. I'm not a heavy lifter so the machine is plenty sturdy for me. Now, if only I can fix the sticky pulleys, I would be a happy ca..." Read Full Review

"The pulley's stick and on the front pull down you have to have a lot of weight on them for them to work. I put the 10 lbs on them and pull down but it does not go back down and you have to wait for the pulleys and it drags when you use any of the pully excericses. For the money you might as well buy all of the machines seperate. We have not been happy with the machine for the price we paid."

"I am a personal trainer who was sick of spending too much time at the gym. This machine offers almost everything the gym does as far as exercises but with about half the effectiveness. Most of the exercises don't allow a full range of motion while resisting. The smith machine doesn't slide on bars very easily when wieghted. ALot of the exercises are uncomfortable on the body.Building this thing was a bigger pain in the butt than the first week in prison. If you do decide to buy it I reccomend having someone else put it together for you. [...] The positve thing is I love to be able to work out at home. The bench with free wieghts is pretty good."

"Just purchased this system and had lots of fun setting up (just kidding). It took me almost 10 hours to put together. In addition, the pulleys are sticking. I've tried penetrating oil and that helped, but didn't totally fix the problem. Next step is to try some of the grease that came with the machine. For my needs the Smith machine is fine. I'm not a heavy lifter so it is plenty sturdy for me. If only I could fix the sticking pulleys, I would be a happy camper. Stay tuned."
"The Golds Gym Pro Series GR7000 smith machine is not what I expected. First off it was a pain to build. There is not a broad enough range of motion on the Cable Crossovers or the Pec Deck. The smith machine works pretty well as do the high and low pully. The bench is very wobbly which was a big dissapointment. The price (about [$]) sounded good, but now I know why it was so cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.Overall I am unhappy with my purchase and would not reccomend this to anyone."

"Love this machine! I bought got one used on Ebay for [$]. The best thing is the safety factor. As a 58 yr old I needed a safety spotter and this machine was perfect. As for the complaint about the light weights sticking go to Walmart and spend $2.00 on a spray can of Silicon Lubricant. Spray the upright metal bars where the weights slide up and down. No more sticking. The cable crossovers are also a nice feature. This machine also doubles as a squat rack for free weights."

Cons:
"For a total body workout nothing works better than this gym. It's easy to use and very effective. I have used many different home gym's nothing compares."
Pros:
Cons:
"The pulleys could be better the drag from them adds up as the weight goes up and gives you rough spots. The cover on the bench has a rough texture on your back when you bench press."
Pros:
Cons:
"I use the product daily and it really keeps me in shape."
