"First, it's great that these can be used for cats and dogs but I primarily give to my cat. Although they seem expensive, the freeze dried treat can be broken up into small bits. I use mine because my 19 year old cat needs to continue to be "lured" to her food bowl a couple of times a day. She has arthritis but walking is good for her. She really loves these and all it takes is just a few bits of one of the nugge..." Read Full Review

"I was actually kind of shocked to see the TINY jar of treats when my order arrived. I nearly just returned them but didn't go to the trouble. The chicken bits are really dried out and crumbly, they look like they need to be reconstitued with water or broth but my Shih Tzu seemed to like them alright. He's not picky. I don't think they are worth the price. For $8 I could buy 2 fully cooked roasters at the market..." Read Full Review

"My cats love these. They only get them on special occasions because they are pretty expensive but they go nuts when they see the jar. One of my cats actually takes them right out of my fingers rather than off the floor. He'll sit up and beg for them on his hind legs!"
Pros:
"We ordered Halo Liv-a-Littles just to try. They seemed to be all protein and we have a constant weight problem with our 4 cats and one dog. I was not prepared for their overwhelming reaction! To say they love this treat is an understatment. They recognize the jar, even the sound of the lid being removed. It is requested over and over each day. And if one cat asks all the rest show up for their share. It is expensive but they love it so much. I have started ordering 10 or 12 jars at a time. I love the fact that Liv-a-Littles have no unpleasant ordor. The cats and dog sure can smell it but not me. And even though it is crumbly they clean it up so I don't have a mess."

I don't think they are worth the price. For $8 I could buy 2 fully cooked roasters at the market and have a lot more chicken to feed him as treats.
Needless to say, I wont be ordering this product again."
Pros:
"These "chicken nuggets" are terrific. You know what's in them ... chicken. That's it. I even verified with Halo that they do not even add any salt during the process of freeze-drying the white meat chicken. They aren't cheap anywhere, but I think that they are worth the price. Cats are obligate carnivores (gotta have meat!) and so these treats are perfect for them, especially in comparison to kibble-type treats which have practically zero meat. Our cat isn't a big free water drinker, so I soak the Halo chicken treats in filtered water for a few minutes before treat time. That way, the little guy gets some much needed water. Also, I think the texture is more appealing for him that way ... moist like chicken breast instead of really dry. Of course, he'll eat them dry "if he has to!""
Pros:
"I manage a cat shelter and the Halo treats are wonderful rewards to social behaviour and have helped to bring shy cats out of their hiding places. I use a clicker and then treat. Unfortunately, we have 50 free roaming cats so I use a jar a day."
Pros:
"My babies, Samantha, Tigger and Red adore this treats. They go wild. When I say, who wants a treat? The come running. They do not give me a chance to give it to them, they take it out of my hands. It is amazing! Even Red that does not care for treats at all goes crazy about them. Besides, I know I am giving them a great, nutritious treat. Specially for Tigger (his diabetes is in remission now). I am so happy I found out about this treats! Even though they are a bit pricey, I do not care. My babies deserve the very best. Besides, drugstore.com has the best price. Thanks!!!"
Pros:
"This stuff looks like it's made of styrofoam, but it's really pure chicken and our kitties think it's the absolutely best treat EVER!!!! They stand up on their hind legs to try and grab it out of our hands when we're giving them pieces. The only downside is that once the jar is open you need to store it in the refrigerator, plus the pieces break up and make a bit of a mess when they're eating these treats. But, all in all it's a great product and a pure and wholesome snack you can feel good about giving to your pets."

Cons:
"My cats adore these things and like I said - would happily kill me to get them. They are one of the healthiest treats on the market since it's literally *just* chicken. No typical allergens such as wheat, soy, corn, etc. My cats occasionally go through finicky periods where they're not interested in their usual food, but I can just crumble a Liv-a-Little on top and it will be devoured. They're a little pricey, but you pay for the convenience and I'll continue to purchase them."
Pros:
"I have never seen our dogs eat and want something as much as they do these. The perfect special treat for your pooch. You need to refridgerate after opening."

She really loves these and all it takes is just a few bits of one of the nuggets onto her regular food. The times that I've given them to my dogs, they've adored them as well but I'm more selective about when they receive them since they are a little pricy. Well worth it though!"
