"I bought this monitor at my own expense to use at work, doing Cad Design and Drafting. I bought it primarily to increase the size of the 1024X768 workspace I had my CAD set up in on the 19" I had, and currently have the widescreen setting of 1280x768 set as my default on this new 28".
