"[...]I've only used the unit for about 2 1/2 weeks, so I can't speak to long-term reliability. But so far, so good. It's very quiet and compact and does a good job humidifying a fairly large space. I like the included Protec cleaning cartridge - it seems to inhibit mold growth and supposedly works for up to a month. Clumsy to fill, needs bottom handle

"Very quiet. Efficient disbursal of mist, but low, horizontal vent outlet delivers chilly draft - better if angled upward. Also, it's quite difficult to fill: rounded top and bottom, so you can't set it down, and no recessed handle on the filling end, so you have to hold it by hooking your fingers in the opening.
