"Most circular polarizers are so dark that they can function as neutral density filters as well as polarizers. If, however, you don't want that density, then this is the filter for you. "One who only wishes to get rid of reflections that are not welcome will be glad to know that this filter does that and more. I am glad it has helped me enhance the beauty of a blue sky. You ought to be a bit cautious when choosing the white balance though, or it will tint your picture a little.
