Excellent light stand.
"This light stand is great. The locks are very comfortable to adjust and sturdy. I really like the air cushioning feature as it allows the light to not accidently drop to fast or hard. The hieght of 9.5' is wonderful for me during weddings while using a second off camera speedlight for additional lighting or in the field portraiture. Sub-standard...
"These might be okay if you set them up once and leave them up indefinitely, but if you are going to be setting up and taking down regularly, spend the extra money and get something WAY better. These stands don't extend and deploy smoothly and their components are made of plastic. I've got a couple of these and i've got a couple Promaster LS-4s. "Great stand - easy to adjust. I've only had a few minor glitches folding the feet up. Not so smooth. Other than that, it's a great stand. We'll see how it stands up to all my abuse! "
