"This was a gift for my husband. We went to check out boomboxes and was looking at a Sony brand but after listening to this brand we loved the sound immediately. We were a little hesitant because it was $20.00 cheaper but we went ahead and bought it and listened to it the entire day with no regrets. You get what you pay for, low price, low quality.
"I will be returning my 2nd "boom box". The first one's CD player stopped working after only a few hours after I purchased it yesterday. And yes, I tried cleaning the CDs, I tried different CDs, unplugging it, and all that. I returned to Best Buy this evening to get another one. I brought it home. "This seems like a cool product but mine worked (literally) for 15 minutes. I played the radio some, sounded fine, then tried the Ipod. That sounded good but I left the room for a while. I heard the sound stop and when I came back in the room it never worked again.
