"I live in an apartment where most of the floor is carpeted with a kitchen and bathroom with vinyl floors. The Roomba handles either surface very well. The threshold between the carpet and kitchen is a little high, so "Cam" did get stuck once while crossing over, but other than that my experience has been great. It covered the entire floor. Great when it's new-only good for 1 year
"I loved my Roomba at first and used it frequently. I had problems with it after about a year - it didn't hold a charge and stopped completing the cleaning cycle. I got a second one at a discount with an exchange from Roomba. The second one started acting up after a while as well. In the meantime, I had purchased one for my aging aunt and uncle.
