Solidly built/great design/Definately recommend
"The first time I used one of these was in the dirt laden Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. It took me maybe 15 minutes to pump a liter of water...but if you've ever seen the Colorado River, you'd know why. This filter filtered out every little microscopic bit of sediment that the Colorado threw at it. I've sense used it in Big Bend, the Great Smokey Mountains and the Black Hills of South Dakota. Top notch filter, just a little heavy.
"The Katadyn Pocket is an excellent, tried, tested and true filter. Water output is satisfactory. Being made of sturdy metal instead of plastic(if you've ever had a plastic filter break in the field, and you're without superglue you know what I mean) it is a little heavy. Not a better filter for the price, quality, ease of use, and weight.
"You can buy good cheaper filters, but you will end up paying more on all the replacement filters to pump the same amount as this will pump with one.
