There has to be a better choice.
"I have had this unit for about six months. As a microwave oven, it is OK, but if you were expecting the range hood to be useful, you will be greatly disappointed. The air flow is anemic and has little change of keeping cooking odors from staying in the house.

Venting
"If the hood is vented up though the roof as the man from Longwood said, downdraft can occur from outside down through the vent thereby preventing the hood from removing food smells from the house.
