"I am not exactly the outdoors-y type, so I am not sure why my roommate and I decided to stock our apartment with an air mattress, but I cannot even tell you how many times I have been very, very glad that we did! Ideal for living room guests or any other surprise circumstances. Kind of cold for sleeping outside, though. "I use this bed when the grandkids come to visit. They love to have a slumber party where they are on the living room rug. I am less anxious about children rolling off the bed and around the room because the Areo bed keeps the child in one place. The form of the bed turns up on the edges so the child does not roll off. It is larger than a convential blow-up bed so the child feels secure and confortable. A small c..." Read Full Review
"I ordered this Aerobed for my son to use on vacation. He is 18 months old, and is huge (32.5 lbs) so is too big for the pack-n-play. I wasn't sure he'd understand the concept of sleeping on the bed since he only sleeps in a crib at home. So, I took his nap mat that he uses at daycare with us as well. Inflating the bed took about 15 seconds. At the condo where we stayed, one bedroom had two twin beds and this Aerobed fit between them perfectly. However, I needn't have worried, my son wasn't rolling out of this bed, the 4-inch buffer stopped him very well. The bed comes with a fleece plush moon and stars cover, so is comfy to sleep on that way. I also spread the nap mat on top of the fleece cover and my son got very excited to see his mat and the bed. He crawled right in and was asleep in 10 minutes. He slept through the night on the bed and did very well for naps as well. He only got out of it once, after a nap and all he did was come looking for us. I was hesitant to spend $80 on a vacation bed, but it's big enough to use for years to come, supports up to 150 lbs weight and is very comfy. My son was a little confused coming home and sleeping in a crib, but got over it in one day. All in all, the learning curve to get him to sleep on the Aerobed was much easier than coming back to a crib. I was very worried before going on vacation, but I shouldn't have been concerned. It went very smoothly. I toyed with the idea of setting it up at home in his room, but I think my dogs would try using it and rip it with their claws. He'd love sleeping on it at home too."
"Bought this for my (then) 18-month-old. He loves 'his' bed. Great for visits and travel, plus he doesn't have to sleep in a 'strange' bed. Makes bedtime away from home much easier. Stays inflated. 250 lb. weight limit - you can lay with them (it's quite comfy). No patching yet even with rough play and lots of use. Fool proof inflation in under 60 seconds. Pump will only inflate to max pressure - no matter how long you leave it running. Inflation hole AUTOMATICALLY CLOSES when you remove the pump. Deflates in about 3 seconds, and rolls up easily. Oversize carry bag with shoulder strap easily holds bed, pump, mattress cover, sheets (twin fits bed easily), and a stuffed animal with room to spare. Lightweight. The bumpers are great for my son who sleeps in 8 different directions! I couldn't imagine a better bed! Defintely worth the price! I'm sure this will be used for many sleepovers in years to come! Hope this helps!"

Pros:
"We are on vacation and are trying out the bed for the first time. My son is two and just never has slept well in pack n plays in hotels. This bed inflates in just a few seconds with the pump. I'm sleeping on the bed with him because he is such a roly poly olly. It's pretty comfortable. We have added air once just because I don't think I filled it all the way at first. It's a little expensive but it's big enough to use for a while."
"My mom bought this for my son who is 2 1/2. It is very easy to inflate when he visits grandma's house. He cant fall of, and he always sleeps well on it. We thought the fitted sheet was too thick so we just used a regular sheet, but he loves it. It is so easy to put away when he leaves. Highly recommend! And I can lie on it with him while we read."
Pros:
"My 2yo grandson was spending 3 days/3 nights at my place & I don't have a crib here. In the past, for overnights, I would have him sleep with me, but got NO sleep with him kicking & rolling around all night! This bed is perfect! He slept through the night, did not roll out, and loved being able to get out of it by himself in the morning. We used it for naps too. It exceeded my expectations on set up & take down, and quality. Thanks!"
Pros:
"With 2 year old grand"twins", these areo beds seem to be a must have item. I gave them each one for a birthday present - along with way too many toys & clothes! Since both set of grandparents live 800 miles away, the twins do quite a bit of traveling. The pac-n-plays we used were great, but our babies are growing up fast... These beds haven't been used at my house yet, but I can't imagine them not being just the thing for my "sweeties" to get in a great nap and full night of sleep. As with my other aerobed mattresses, I expect they will be just as wonderful and durable. Our queen areobed is still just as great as the day it came out of the box 12 years ago! It has been a real trooper - being used anywhere from 6-10 times a year. And I'm sure the kids areo beds and my new twin size mattress will function just as well. I am truly sold on Aero bed products - but I'm sure you've figured that out by now!"
Pros:
"We bought this bed for our 2 year-old son who has outgrown his pack n plays. We travel a lot to see family, go to horse shows, and vacation, and we needed something comfortable for him that's easy to transport. He loves his new travel bed! It seems very comfortable for him and it's easy for us to use. The travel bag is big enough that we have his blanket, pillow, and the sheet in there too. The sheet that comes with the bed is really cute and cozy... it's a cute moon and stars print in a really luxe fluffy fabric. The only challenge we've had with the bed is getting him to go to sleep on it. The first night, it took about 2 hours of us staying in the room to remind him to stay on the bed. Now he's doing fine with the idea. I did see him trying to roll off the edge in his sleep, and it was high enough to keep him from rolling over the edge. This is a great bed for traveling, and should easily fit a 5 or 6 year old, too!"

All I can say is Grandmas need to get this bed for their younger grandkids. Mine has gone through 3 grandkids and it still looks and works good. Also it is SO easy to pump up. All you have to do it put the pump on the bed and plug it in to a electrical outlet. You can remove the pump so the child will not play with it. My 4 year old grandson show me how to take the air out afterwards. This product is a no brainer."
