"This product is great! I have spent many years looking for a product for my 5 yr. old's curly hair. It keeps his hair moisturized all day and is non-greasy. His curls stay bouncy and looks just as great after school as it does in the morning. I like it so much, I will try it on my hair!"

"I actually started using this product last year because of the good reviews. I have natural African American hair. I really do not know my hair type but it is VERY, VERY thick. It also has a definite curl pattern. It looks like a lot of spiral curls, ranging in size. My hair is also dark brownish. This is a very light weight product. It adds natural moisture and it doesn't give an artificial shine. My hair is pretty easy to comb but this makes it easier. I use it both after a washing and daily before work. I use it on wet and dry hair. I like it because it does not turn my hair white like some of the other thick creams. It is kind of transparent which is good if you have darker hair. There really isn't any build-up either. And my hair never feels dirty because of this. The smell is great and light and it is super easy to apply. I really love it because it does not mess up my curl definition; if anything it helps it look better by controlling the frizz and combating dryness. It has some chemicals but not nearly as much as other products. It would be nice if there were a spray version. I tried mixing it with water in a spray bottle…it comes out, just not in a "mist." The price is great, I by two every time I go to the store…I try to leave a few for others!!!"

"My daughter is a mixed african american/hispanic child. Her hair is extremely curly, thick and long.I use this product in the morning and at night before she goes to bed. It makes the tangles easier to comb out and makes her hair look very healthy and soft. I also recommend using the Shea Butter Conditioning Shampoo and Gro Strong Triple Action Growth Stimulating Therapy. All products have a great smell to them. Whenever people hold my daughter they always comment on how good her hair smells and looks. I was introduced to this product from a salon in Dallas, TX. They can not keep it on the shelf!!! "Back in March I bought this for my 5 year olds hair. He has very curly hair, because he's mixed with African American and Asian. It works great at detangling and moisturizing. But after a couple of weeks, I noticed he developed a rash on his neck and ears. The doctor said he had an allergic reaction to the product and recommended I stop using it on him."

"I discovered this on the shelf at Walgreens. So I came home and researched it on longhaircareforum. It got great reviews. I am all natural with 4 hair type. My daughter is a toddler and her hair type is in the 3's. I was using Karen's Body Beautiful hair milk in her hair for the past year. Although a great product, it is quite pricey. I got Kids Organics, and it's very comparable to KBB hair milk. Once in her hair, the comb slides right through like a dream. It definitely has saved me about $13 bucks + shipping. If I need to use between washes, I also wet her hair with a little water from a spray bottle, and please make sure you seal it with some type of oil because it can be drying and will look dry if used by itself. My daughter also has a mild case of eczema, but it hasn't affected her skin like others mentioned. I just use on her hair, and not her scalp. A little goes a long way. "I used this on my daughter's hair and I didnt use a large amount. She had an allergic reaction and it made a horrible rash throughout her whole head, scalp and neck. I had t otake her to the doctors and she is on two types of medication. She has never reacted like this to other shea products I use on her. It does however get the tangles out."

I have tried all kinds of greases, hair lotions; petrolatum-based, mineral oil-based, etc. NO matter what they always left my little girl's and my hair dry and tangled and just rough feeling and looking.
