"It's just what you need to warm up your baby's bottle. I've read some up the negative reviews about this warmer and it seems to me that people are just impatient. If you want to your bottle warmed up super fast then go ahead and use the microwave. But make sure you know that you will just be loading up your baby's milk with tons of radiation. "I thought this was a necessity, but boy I was wrong. There was nothing worse than getting up at 3 a.m. only to stand and watch this thing heat up. It heats up quick (for the most part), but has no timer or heat limit. Yes, it shuts of and on every few minutes, but if you pop a bottle in and go change her -- it gets WAY to hot. I thought for the money there would be a "3-minute" timer or something you could set. ..." Read Full Review
I've been using this warmer for my 1yr old son since he was born and still use it EVERYDAY. I leave it on the high setting( #3) because it will heat much faster. Works well for both 4 oz and 8oz bottles. Typically it takes me 3 min to get a temp I like but if your milk is super cold then maybe 5 min depending if it's a glass bottle or plastic. Glass bottles heat twice as fast in this than plastic bottles. Playtex dropins warmup even faster but be very careful even though they are BPA free. I use Playtex dropins and it warms ups wonderfully. Would highly recommend this product."
Pros:
"This bottle warmer came as part of the Avent Sterilizing package and we have been using it for weeks. It takes about 4 minutes to heat about 4 oz. I wish this bottle warmer had an automatic shut off switch when it was done but I just keep checking it every so often to make sure its not getting too hot. I also recently purchased the Munchkin brand bottle warmer to keep at my parents house when they are watching the baby and I thought I was going to like this one better because it beeps when the bottle is done and shuts off...however, it is very easy to overheat the bottle and if you don't put enough water in it, it doesn't heat the bottle enough and in that case, you have to wait another 3 min. before you can reheat again. Its extremely long when you have a screaming child who is hungry. Its also rather loud when steaming. So in comparison, the Avent one is much easier. I just keep the container filled with water (adding more as I need to) and just keep checking it. At least I know that after 4 min. or so, the bottle will be ready. Just set the timer on the stove if you need to. Everything is always trial and error, but this one seems to work best for my family."
Pros:
"Awsome product! For people who say doesn't work, they don't know how to use it. setting 1 keeps bottle luck warm or you could put bottle in warmer ahead for next feeding. Setting # 2 baby is getting hungry takes like a min. now setting #3 baby is hungry now ready in like 40 seconds. Its awsome would buy again. The only thing that could make this product better is a buzz or something indecating that water is ready. If Formula feeding warm water first, then add formula. If you add formula first gets hotter faster."

Cons:
"Overall, I am happy with my purchase. First the pros:
Formula is a consistent temperature. I stopped using avent bottles because of leaking - but I still use this to heat my playtex bottles with liners. For a 4 oz bottle it heats in four minutes, just as claimed. I always know that as soon as the light goes off it is warm - and always the same temp. If I fill the bottle to rim - maybe 4 1/2 oz - I take it out the second time the light goes off. If I heat an 8oz bottle - I take it out the second time the light goes off. Basically, you just have to figure out what works best for the bottles you have - buy this and experiment before baby comes.
It has worked correctly from day one, have had it for three months now.
I am glad that it does not shut off automatically because then I couldnt adjust for different bottles.
For the cons:
The cord to plug in is very short - so it has to be next to an outlet.
Uses water fairly quickly, but I keep a glass of water next to the warmer and I pour water in as needed - and only have to fill the glass about once a week.
I do spill a little water every now and then, but to save my changing table I keep a piddle pad underneath the warmer.
It does get hard water stains inside after using and drying out a bit - just wash about once a month to keep clean."
Pros:
"This is the best warmer I have used so far! It takes 3minutes to heat a 5oz bottle from fridge to warm temp. It is quiet and does not have a loud, obnoxious alarm that goes off when it's ready. It does not shut off automatically but that's because you need to heat fuller bottles for a longer amount of time. It is very easy to clean and I liked it so much I bought a second one to leave at Grandma and Grandpa's house!"
Pros:
"This is the pinnacle of bottle warmers!! We had a good bottle warmer for our first child who is now 2 and continued to use it for our new baby as well. It eventually died and we needed to find a replacement. We purchased nearly every brand and style out there, going with recommendations from friends and research done on the web. None of them gave us everything we wanted. Until we found this one that is. It warms bottles nice and evenly and in record time. This is a must have for any new parent at 2 AM when your baby doesn't want to wait for a slow bottle warmer. My only wish was we had found this before spending hundreds of dollars on other, inferior warmers."
Pros:
"I began using this warmer when my son was a few weeks old. The directions state to fill water to the level of the formula/breastmilk and this method has worked well until recently. Now that he's at 5 oz he uses a taller bottle. Obviously if I fill it to the liquid line it would overflow so I'm stuck either running it through twice or heating it in a mug of hot water. If Avent made a warmer that heated taller bottles than I would say this is a great deal, but until then I will be searching for another warmer."
Pros:
Cons:
"It does not beep and you kind of have to guess when the milk is warmed up. The milk can get very hot if you don't keep track how long it has been warming up. You need to have a timer so that the milk gets at the right temperature. However, you need to learn this by yourself because the instructions are based in fixed ounces to warm up. Also, you need to remember to turn the warmer off after each use. It is not very practical, but gets the job done.
Not that easy to wash because the cord is attached."
Pros:
"I don't understand what is wrong with the rest of the reviewers. Do you expect to warm a bottle in under a minute? I, for one, would be very hesitant to use any bottle warmer that took less than 3 or 4 minutes to warm a bottle fearing it would be too hot.
I used this bottle warmer for both of my children. They were breastfed so I had to pump while I was away at work. That being said, I didn't get to use this product too often for warming breastmilk because I had built-in bottles. But the nanny, my husband, and the grandparents used it, all exclaiming "This is a wonderful invention!"
Breastmilk being very fragile, the way you warm the milk is very important. Microwaves destroy the "good stuff" in the milk, so that is out of the question. Besides that, microwaves heat unevenly leaving hot spots in the milk and baby food. The hot-water-in-a-glass or pot method just takes waaaay too long.
If you're having problems or can't figure out how to use this product, READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL! It explains everything you need to know.
p.s. It's great for warming baby food too!"
