"I don't normally write reviews but felt I should since I've read a lot of reviews about the size being so huge. No doubt, this is a large carseat but it fits in my Hyundai Accent. Granted, not much room if someone else needs to sit in the backseat (we have the car seat centered) but that's hardly ever been an issue. I love the 5-point harness. My daughter is very slender and has lots of room - sits cross legged ..." Read Full Review

"I ordered three of the Britax Regent car seats from Baby Universe. The first two were great! The third was an older model where there was no velcro on the shoulder pads or the area where you release the harness. It took me a while to figure out how to get my fingers in to get to the release! This particular car seat is going in my mother's car, so it won't be used as often, but it was a huge disappointment ..." Read Full Review

"I just bought this seat for my 5 1/2 year old daughter who was in a booster seat prior to that, but every time she fell asleep she would flop over in half. That isnt anywhere close to safe in my book!!! People complain that this seat is too heavy and too bulky but I bet they would complain a lot more if their children were injured or worse in an accident. Are we really to be that worried about how the seat looks or the safety it provides??? Yeah, it does take some muscle to lug around, and it did take a good half hour for me to install it properly in my car (an Intrepid) but I'd give any and all of my time to make sure my princess is safe and secure. This is by far the absolute best seat out on the market today for your older tots. It's worth every penny and all the hassle!"

"I bought this car seat as soon as my soon met the height and weight recommendations. I'd done extensive research (research is what i do for a living) and I knew this was the safest and would be useful for many years to come.(a great investment as opposed to continuously upgrading other substandard seats). My son was a preemie so we had different brand infant carrier type seat but I couldnt wait to get him in his britax. He has been in it now from about 20 months he is going to be 2 in May 2008 and I am thrilled to know I wont need another seat ever!! He Loves getting into his carseat, I know he's safe and Its easy to use. I have it in the center of my middle row seats on my Honda Pilot and theres room to fit persons on either side of him. We've even transported friends with their children in car seats. I've had this seat in the middle and another convertible seat on one side and an infant carier child seat on the other side (the King in the middle)."

"I have a 3 year old and a 21 month old and my oldest loves this seat. We started with the roundabout then moved into the decathalons, and now have our oldest in this seat. She loves it! She can nap, use the cup holders, and see out the windows with no problem. It's big, but on the outside seat of my minivan its actually easier to get past this seat for a passenger to sit in the middle. It's expensive, but then, how much did the car itself cost, and what else is a better investment than a seat that will last this long?"

Cons:
"I ordered this car seat about a week ago after a very bad experience with the Eddie Bauer. I wish I had gotten this one in the first place. I was concerned it would not fit in my car because of everybody saying how big it is. It is a big seat but it fits in my Toyota Camry with no problem. My son is 20 months old and the straps are at the lowest setting so he has tons of room to grow with this seat. It is an expensive seat but well worth the money. I highly recommend this car seat."
Pros:
"We bought this car seat for my 3-year-old who is 35 lbs. We love it! We originally had an Eddie Bauer high-back booster, and it was awful. Impossible to install, uncomfortable, and flimsy. I really did my research this time, and am very happy with my decision! My son loves it, and can't wait to sit in it! And it will last us until 80 lbs., so we'll get a lot of use out of it!"

Cons:
"This is the best seat ever! My 3 1/2 year old and 6 year old love it as well!"
Pros:
Cons:
"We originally ordered the Graco Nautilus as he outgrew his Britax Roundabout. We heard good things and it was cheaper than the Britax versions so we went with it and my son did nothing but complain about how uncomfortable the Nautilus was and that it hurt his back. We returned it and having a good experience with Britax in the past, ordered the Britax Regent from Babysrus and he LOVES it. There's a reason it's more expensive. It's so much more comfortable! Be forewarned - it's huge - but still a cinch to install!"
Pros:
Cons:
"I bought this for my daughter once she outgrew the weight limits on her convertable carseat. I love the carseat, it is big and bulky but that's what I like, I know she is protected. I would have to say this is the best carseat on the market."
Pros:
"My 27 month old has almost reached the limits on her convertable car seat and I'm not ready to use a booster. This car seat is allowing me to use a five point harness much longer. And after reading about Kyle David Miller, extended five point harnessing is very important to me!"
