"This is the perfect size pack for dayhikes and non-winter 14er summit days. I have more packs than I care to count and this is by far the most comfortable. It can hold my rain gear, lunch, small 1st aid/essentials, medium size camera, and my 300 weight fleece jacket as well as the 100oz of H20 for day hikes & summits. On other days it holds my (small) climbing rack, harness and my lunch with my shoes & helmet..." Read Full Review »

"Camelbak has been making this pack for years. For the longest time, this was my pack of choice for most day-long ventures. It holds an extra layer of clothes, food for a day, and a very large amount of water (3L). That being said, I rarely use it anymore. As I've gained outdoor experience, I have found that I rarely need to haul 3 liters of water anywhere. I usually get through any day with a 1-liter platyp..." Read Full Review »

"The Rim Runner is a great hydration system and pack for any 6 to 12-Hour Adventure Racer. It can carry all required gear in the main pocket while leaving room for food and emergency supplies in the small pocket plus carry 100mL of water.
When full of gear and water the 'Runner tends to bow out a

"I use this guy every single day--whether Im on the mountain, headin to the gym, or just packing a lunch and heading to work. When hiking, the insulated hydration chamber keeps water cold ALL DAY. Throw a few ice cubes in there, and were talking fridgid. You can strap a raincoat or small sleeping pad …" Read Full Review »

"I am a BoyScout who goes camping at a minimum of once a month. I like to always bring my Rim Runner, even if I don't really nead it (camping near, oh, lets say NASA and hanging out there all day). I have not had one single problem with the pack except I can not fit all of my gear inside of it :(. …" Read Full Review »
