"This car seat is amazing, I didnt want to spend a hundred on a car seat so this one was perfect It fits great, my son still has to face the rear but is to big for his other car seat, so this is perfect, he can simply be turned around when he is old enough.. "I love this seat. We bought it somewhere else but i'm a huge review reader! My husband picked it out for our at the time 8 month old daughter so I came home and read reviews and then we went to buy it. I've not had any trouble with it! I'm a huge safety person. We have an eddie bauer convertible seat too but it wouldn't install rear-facing very well and this one is PERFECT! She's 20 months now and is still able to sit rear-facing! This is the only one out of the 2 we have that will actually install properly rear-facing! Perfect for babies that have outgrown their infant seat and not ready for forward facing. I love the LATCH system makes this seat UNMOVABLE! It has also been washed 30 times in the past year and comes out so easy and goes back in easy too! My daughter loves it! We're able to just pull it out and move the straps if need be! Love it! Would DEF recommend to a friend!"

"This product is great for using if you have twins. they are narrow, so 2 on the back seat and I can still squeeze myself between them when needed. With other car seats this was impossible. The only thing is that the cup holder easily falls of, but that also can be because how we attached them.

We bought them when they were too tall for the infant car seat. They were too small for toddler car seat."

"I LOVE this car seat! Having raised my own family as well as owning a preschool for years, I always come back to Cosco car seats. As a new grandmother I LOVE this seat! It is VERY easy to install in my new car which has a factory installed latch system. Also the one button adjustment for the shoulder harness allowing for bulky clothing to tee shirts is a breeze. WOW! Car seats have come a long way in the past 5 years!!! Why spend more? This is great!"

"Consumers says that when properly installed, this is a safe car seat. I will take their word on that. However, I have been astonished at how many different cars this seat won't fit properly when using the LATCH system (NB: to be fair all the vehicles have been foreign, German or Japanese) The fundamental flaw stems from the cost saving measure of only having a single buckle on the LATCH straps. This makes it VERY difficult to get the safety-seat snugly/tightly seated into the cars rear seat. (Gymnasts might not fond this exercise much of a challenge, but I do) The booster seat they sell is even worse in this regard. If they had just spent the extra dollar and had two tightening buckles, this would be a great bargain. By comparison, my wife is ale to install the low-end Britax (albeit at roughly twice the price) in just about any car we take, in about three minutes. While we are griping, I would like to add that the crotch snap-buckle is way too stiff, especially for people with fingernails, even short ones. In brief, even though I am lean, fit and can build my own house I find this too much to wrestle with on a regular basis."

"This carseat has been around a long time..... If you read the instructions you can put the bar in the back up and it creates the recline for rear facing and forward facing children. It does sit to straight if you leave that rear bar down. The weight requirements just mean that it can seat a child under 1 rear facing up to 35lbs(any heavier and another carseat would be needed) but if they are over 1 but not 35lbs it can seat that child forward facing as long as the child is at least 22lbs and up until they are 40lbs at which time they would move to a booster. The reccommendation is 12mths and at least 20lbs for forward facing. great for that second vehicle or grandparents. There are also additional carseat covers that are reasonable to add some cushion..... I used this carseat for my godson 8years ago and purchased another one for my own daughters and now one for my son in our second car. Great economical and safe seat."
