"I am a 5'6" adult and I don't have to hunch over to ride this scooter. I can now keep up with my kids when we all ride scooters!"
"My youngest child is 6 and he loves to ride his bike. My husband and I scooter next to him and my older kids, ages 12-16, ride their bikes, run, or scooter with us. The kids Razor scooters are so much fun but ride rough and are a little small for an adult. I researched and found this scooter. The large wheels make for a smooth ride and it can handle dirt roads, pebbles, and rocks fantastically. It can also be fast. I haven't tried jumping cracks with it yet but other than that, this scooter is a blast. I even tried riding it to town, about 2 miles away, and it handled well. It was a great workout and I saved gasoline. My kids love it, too, and always hope for a chance to ride it...but since it was my Mother's Day gift (to myself!), I get first choice of all our scooters to ride it! It's Mom's scooter! Being I'm almost 50, this toy has no age limit! This scooter would also be good for running errands. The front/rear brakes really keep the hills in control (if you want control!). [...]. This scooter is a 5 star scooter for all the uses I mentioned but being my kids and I haven't tried tricks on it yet, I gave it a 4. Thank you."
"WOW! This is one cool scooter! Quality seems great, as I am a large male (250 Lbs) I was unsure if the wheels and frame would support my weight. No problem there. I received my Know-Ped yesterday, and first thing this morning, I went for a ride around town, and am very impressed. I rode about 3 miles. Barely felt the cracks in the sidewalks, and it handles just as well on the streets. The deck is large enough that I can put my 4 year old, 40 lb son in front of me and ride fairly comfortably.
1) The fold down security clip dangles on the right handlebar and the sound can get irritating, so I would recommend taping it down to silence it.
2) When the handlebars are folded down to travel, the overall size seems a little over whelming and I could see where it would be tough to commute with, on a train or a bus.
My kids have scooters and skateboards, and I bought this one in an effort to spend more time with them riding and for personal exercise, and I am sure it will do the trick, because once you start scooting around on this thing, you won't want to stop... Now both of my kids want to upgrade their Razors to Go-Peds. I am impressed enough after one morning of use, that I expect they will soon have to have Grow-Peds of their own.
Overall - This is an impressive scooter, and I am very happy with it."
"This scooter is great. I use this to play along with my children ages 12 & 7 on their scooters and scooter-bike. I also use it for exercise since I can't run due to foot problems and love being outdoors. I love that it is proportioned for an adult in weight and height...even thoughI am short, it fits me better than the kids scooters. Everything is great about it!"
"I like this scooter. It rolls easily, i.e. it goes further on the same amount of effort than other scooters I've tried. The handbrake is easy to use, and works well. The wide platform enables me to switch from left to right leg pushing without stopping, since the platform is wide enough for both of my feet to be on the platform side-by-side, simultaneously (and mine are size 11 EEEEE)."
"I bought this scooter for my son which is a "Special Needs" person...he's a bit over-weight so I needed something that would hold his weight and be well constructed...The oversize foot board, and heavy duty wheels are perfect for him... He has mastered riding it, and has been losing weight while burning calories on it!!! FANTASTIC PRODUCT, well worth the price."
"I like this scooter; it is solidly built, gives a pretty smooth ride, and has grip brake and back fender brakes. The only thing I don't like is that the handle bar is not adjustable, and it is not quite tall enough for me (I am 6' 2"). Overall, a great kick scooter, but not for the very tall."
"This scooter is simply amazing! It is easy to ride and manipulate. Two breaks will help you
manage your ride at their best! Moreover, all your friends will be dead jealous:) (taking into a count that this is a scooter for adults)"
"I have an over-energized 2 year old dog. I get on the scooter and she pulls me all over the neighborhood. That plus the fact that I work in a very large office complex. Sometimes I have to park almost 4 blocks from my building. I just pull this out of the trunk, jump on it and I am at the front door in a couple of minutes. I fold it in half, carry it to my desk and then use it when I go home that night."
