"What a great idea to have a pacifier thermometer, now I can kill two birds with one stone by pacifying my little boy as well as seeing if he's running a fever. A great buy for those first-timers like me!..." Read Full Review

"Get an underarm and/or r*ctal thermometer. Maybe if you use this all the time, you'll know if your little one's temp is up or not. "Get an underarm and/or r*ctal thermometer. Maybe if you use this all the time, you'll know if your little one's temp is up or not. For me the reading was WAY low, and my baby had a skin infection and I NEEDED to know whether he had a fever, and my husband had to run out in the middle of the night to get a thermometer. Of course, he didn't know what he was doing, and he bought three! I only opened two, but both of thos agreed my baby had a normal temp. This pacifier one read almost two degrees lower. If you think your kid is sick, you need a REAL thermometer."
Cons:
"According to this thermometer my daughter (3 months) ALWAYS has a fever! The first time we used it, she was only 6 weeks old and had awful diarrhea. This thermometer said we should be taking her to the hospital! We double checked using both an underarm and a butt thermometer and she was fine. Since then I've tried taking her temp when I know she doesn't have a fever and it always shows a temp over 100 degrees. We may have a faulty one, but I would say don't waste your money - you'll drive yourself crazy!"
Cons:
"The idea of having a thermometer as a pacifier was great, but once it came time to use, it took about five minutes just to figure out how to make it start registering my daughters temperature. After I got it working it took another minute or so to know what her temperature was. I wanted something that was easy to use and gave me a fast result and this was niether. I don't recommend anyone buy this."
Cons:
"I really like it for my 3 month old, the other ones he didn't like under his arm, there was one I tried that you just put on their head, and I HATED that one, and the "most accurate" way isn't my style, unless I'm double checking another thermometer that says his temperature is bad enough to have to take him to the hospital!!!"
Pros:
"I received this thermometer as a shower gift and have used it several times. The first few times I tried it, I would take an internal temp and then try the pacifier thermometer and it was EXACTLY the same as the internal temp. Makes checking her temp. so much easier!"
Pros:
"I used this product when my son had his first major temperature since his pacifier is his favorite thing I figured this would be the best for him to get a reading. In any case, when it was important for me to get the reading, it was about 7-10 degress off his actual temperature. I would not reccomend this product to anybody looking for an accurate reading...great concept though."
Cons:
"This product is Great!! The Pacifier was a little big for my newborn baby but after a month or so the pacifier was just the right size for her. It takes temp. accurately and its very easy to take the temp. All my friends who are parents love this product as well!!"
Pros:
Cons:
"This thermometer was horrible and could have caused real life issues. My son was cranky and warm to the touch so we gave him this thermometer to see what his temp was. Thermometer read 95.4. I decided to do a rektal temp- 104.3 Not exactly a 95.4. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!"
Cons:
"We thought this was such a great idea when we registered for it. We've only tried it a couple times, but my son just kept spitting it out as soon as we put it in his mouth, even though he loves his pacifier. He's only 8 weeks old, though, so I will give it a few more tries as he gets older to decide!"
