"We found Rockingchairs[...] when our first grandaughter was less than one year old . . .and she loves her chair. She has the Princess one at her home and the School Motif at our home. Now little Sophie has joined us and for Christmas she is getting the Artists Chair . . .we can hardly wait to see her little face light up. She Loves big sister Emma's chairs, so we are positive she will love hers too. These chairs are built to last a lifetime. . .what a wonderful gift to give! "I purchased this rocking chair for my 16 month old daughter and she has a lot of fun with it. Though, she cannot climb onto the chair yet herself, she can rock once in the chair and slide off of the chair without difficulty. She has discovered the rotating color wheel on the backside and enjoys pointing at and naming the colors on the armrest. Currently, she likes to store toys or cheerios in the pencil box, which slides open with ease. My daughter rocks her toys in the chair and exclaims, "Weeeee!" which is absolutely adorable.
Now for mom's opinion...
this rocking chair is larger than I assumed it would be, which was a pleasant surprise, since my daughter will be able to use it well into her childhood. The rocker is extremely solid and rocks gently and easily. I also like how vibrant the colors are and how the chair can be appreciated by either boy or girl. The chair's compartment beneath the seat offers plenty of storage for books, art supplies, etc. We have not yet utilized the frame, but it is a fantastic idea and can't wait to post our first work of art!
This is an exceptional chair for a rare little artist who can appreciate a creative place to sit and play. Great purchase and an unbelievable price!"
