"My daughter loves her new toy box!! Easier instructions would have been nice, and the dummy stickers for the screws and bolts would have made it alot easier."

"Although this piece looks like a dream it turns into a mini-nightmare after the first couple months if your child is anything less than a perfect darlng to it (parents of toddlers beware!)

There are problems of practicality -

A)Washing it takes off the paint

B) There's no "proper" toy storage which encourages the "stuff it\hide it" mentality for the kids. It also means EVERYTHING gets thrown out on the floor in search of that ONE desired item

Then there are the safety issues -

A) The mechanism that slows the lid down doesn't take much or too long to break - if you have a child under 2 with this toy this is a major issue, fingers, heads, body parts...

B) More of an aesthetic issue - the sticky pads that soften the noise of the lid slamming\shutting will get pulled off the moment the child realizes this is possible (like bandaids and tape, they can't resist)

C) The arms and back are WEAK. Within 3 months they were showing wear, and within 4 months the arms needed regluing in multiple spots. Not long after that it was the back pulling out."

"I was so excited to finally afford a nice toy box for my 2 year old daughter. This one is pretty and easy to assemble but it is very cheaply made. After about 2 and half months, she went to lift up the top and the hinges ripped the wood off the lid. Needless to say it doesn't close anymore. I am very disappointed in the product. The wood is of poor quality even though I paid a lot of money for this. I would not recommend this toy box for anyone."

"We really loved it! I bought it for my two daughters 3 & 5 who share a room. I thought the greatest feature was the slow close lid, it won't bang down and hit any little fingers. It's sturdy, easy to put together, & looks really cute. My only complaint is that the inside is small and won't hold as many toys as I had hoped."

My daughter is 8 years old. At first I thought this would be too young of a product for her, but not so. It's sturdy, very well made, and she loves the princess theme. It's a nice place for her to hide her toys, especially the little toys like Pet shop animals, her juggling balls, little stuffed animals that get in the way. It's perfect and I don't see her outgrowing this for a long time.



She loves sitting on it and talking on her real Barbie phone to her gramm and her aunts, and she also keeps an extra pillow on it to get comfy when she is reading her books. This is a wonderful product!"

I bought My Grandaughter the Rocking Horse for her 1st Christmas 2006

For her 1st Birthday I got the Toy Bench 2007

Christmas 2007 and for her 2nd birthday the Rocking Chair Princess and the Pea and also the Princess potty Chair.

I am soon ordering the table and chairs for this christmas 2008. All I need then is the dressing table next and the bookcase, the jewelry box and the clothes rack and her room will be full but complete with this group.

"This is a gift I bought for my daughter for her first christmas. And I bought the matching heirloom rocking horse. She loves them both. The toy box is not as big as I'd like, but most toy boxes are smaller then they used to be when I was little. Which is weird considering, most kids have more toys now then before. But over all I love it and it makes a perfect addition to her room. It is definately a show stopper."

"I ordered this for my 2 daughters to store their dolls in. I love it and it is so cute, but the first lid wouldn't go up. The lid was as wide as the armrests so you couldn't open it with out scraping them. We called and they sent us a new lid that was a little smaller. Still grazes the armrests, but works much better. My kids loved it and they love that they can sit on it."
