Easy till the last part

"The toy box was very easy to put together until I got to the very last part, putting the top on it. They didn't drill the holes deep enough for the screws and in trying hard to get the screws in I stripped both the screws and my phillips head driver. I have never had so many issues putting a piece of furniture together in years and years...." Read Full Review

"I was looking at buying this pricey toy box through [...] orighinally. When I found it $20.00 less I immediately ordered. While I was impressed with the cost [...] the hinge for the lid did not fit!! I didn't have time for customer service etc. so my husband went and bought a shim to make it work. Overall the product itself it wonderful!"

"[...].This is for my 6 month old granddaughter's room and it matches perfectly and totally adorable. Although I feel the best age for this use would be 18months +. My husband put it together very quickly reading the instructions and all the pieces were labelled as well. This is a well made item that I am sure my granddaughter will use for many years to come."

"The toy box's appearence is satisfactory and it feels somewhat durable....but if assembly is impossible then what is the use?
The "box" has been sitting in my garage for a week, only half assembled. The screws are stripped as well as my patience. I'm assuming the holes were not drilled correctly at the factory and you, the assembler, are actually creating the bulk of the hole as you manually screw (hand drills are not to be used)in the screw, which will only go in halfway. I will probably end up taking it back.
What a hassle!"
