It is still his favorite things at daycare and he uses it a lot at home too...like the other poster said, he likes to go "surfing" on it by standing and balancing. "We ordered this from Little Tikes for our 14mo son for Christmas. The main reason we chose this was its cute but simple design, and the high back for safety. The one we received was defective; there is a seam that runs down center of puppy from the nose to tail, along the entire top side. It was not properly shaved/grinded down so it was sharp and was raised up 1-2cms. We were afraid it might scratch or cut our son, so we called Little Tikes and were offered a replacement. They had advised we could try to "shave" the seam down ourselves with a potato peeler, however since the seam is several feet long and went around curved features, we declined to do this. Unfortunately that one also had the same defect, so we chose to return them both. When we gave customer service the production codes they did NOT come from the same batch, yet they were both defective which leads us to believe a 3rd replacement would likely have same issue. If we choose to try another product it will only be one that we can purchase in person and examine before getting it home. Its too bad because it looks like it would be very enjoyable. Also, the customer service team was very expedient in helping us throughout. [...]"

"My daughter found this toy on a playdate and fell in love with it. Now, we are planning to get one for her birthday since she had so much fun with it. She hadn't even taken her first steps yet and she was able to climb onto this toy and play without a problem, and it was so stable I didn't have to worry about it tipping over when she was climbing onto or off of it."

"My daughter got this toy for her first birthday. She is now 7. Not only did she play with it all the time both of her brothers have as well! I still find all 3 of my kids rocking on it from time to time. Has held up great and it looks like it just came out of the box."

"I bought this Rocking Puppy for my daughter to use in the house and outside this summer. We have a nice sized deck and it is perfect to bring in and out for her to use. It wipes down easily and is light weight. I also like that it is balanced well on both sides. Since she is only 17 months, she sometimes sits on him backwards and is still able to rock him and have fun. Other rockers do not do the same--they fall over and frustrate her.



I would recommend this toy if you are looking for something affordable and easy to clean. Can easily be used both indoors and out."

"I had actually bought this as a christmas present for my youngest who is 9m at the momemnt, but when the UPS guy showed up at the door and the package wasn't wrapped my 2 year old was to excited for words. So of course I had to open it and let them play. They both love this toy and spend endless hrs on it. It's nice how they both can fit on it at the same time and ride together. The only thing I miss, is 10yrs ago I had bought the cow version of this and the seat was completely padded which was great for smaller children."

"I bought the rockin' puppy for my great-nephew for his first birthday and he just loves it, at first he didn't know what to do with it but now he's riding on it and having fun with it. He likes to sit on it backwards. It's very durable and light so it can go from room to room and it's so bright. I fell in love with it as soon as I seen it online and I just had to get it even thought he got it after his birthday."

"I have a daycare center in my home, and my small ones love it! I like it better than the rocking horse because this one has those cute floppy ears the kids love to pull on. Assembly took 2 minutes! My older kids wish it was bigger because I've caught them trying to get on and ride too. The extra weight of that hasn't even phased the toy. It's very durable. I'd highly recommend."
