"My husband and I registered for this and got this for our baby shower. We have been using it with our son for over 8 months now and I love it! My son is almost 15 months old and he loves this chair too. We began using it when he was around 6 months old and I thought it would be too big for him initally and it wasn't. While he looked tiny in it, the straps and chair hugged him closely. As he has grown the chair has become better nad better. I love that this highchair is on wheels, it makes it SO easy to move around. Also it is incredible easy to wipe down and clean. Others have commented about the nooks that are hard to clean, but if you wipe it down and get out the crumbs after each feeding it is SO EASY to keep clean. I love that you don't have to machine wash a cover to get it clean. I can see that being a pain. What if the cover wasn't clean and dry by the next time you needed to use the chair! What a pain! It is so convenient that all you have to do is wipe this one down. I did remove the entire cover once to clean underneath it. It ws easy to get off and put back on. It alos has adjustable back which is great whe using it with a young baby whom is just beginning solids. The tray is also adjustbale for your growing baby. This chair is a bit pricer that others, but WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! It is made so well and you can tell that careful thought was put into the design of this seat!"
Pros:
"I picked out this chair after it was recommended by a friend and reading the positive reviews it gets. In general, I am happy with it. It is well-made and easy to use. I have not found that the tray is too high as other reviewers mentioned, but my son is big for his age so maybe this is an issue with smaller babies. The one complaint I have about it is that it is a bit of a pain to clean. The top tray is removable and can go in the dishwasher, and the seat cover can be machine-washed, so there is no issue with those parts. (However, I agree the seat's many crevices get time-consuming and tedious to wipe clean after three meals a day.) The lower three straps that fasten around the baby's lap are NOT removable for cleaning. So you will have to spend time scraping dried rice cereal, baby food, and other gunk off of them, and they will not get as clean as the chest straps that can be machine-washed. I am admittedly a bit of neat freak and this may not bother other people as much as it does me. But, this is a sturdy, safe, chair that is well worth the investment when you consider how much use it will get. Other people have told me they used theirs for multiple children, it held up great, and it was worth every penny."

I contacted Peg Perego today regarding the vinyl seat cover for my highchair. We have the Prima Pappa with the Jade Cube cover. We purchased in 4/2006 for our then 4 month old. We wanted to try her out with the family. By November of 2006 the tray was cracked and the seat cover was coming apart at the seams. At that time Peg Perego told me that despite not being under warranty, they would replace them and they did. The seat cover is coming apart again in the same spots. I have an average size 20 month old daughter who is not performing acrobats in this chair. For the amount of money that you spend on choosing this brand, you would expect some durability in the product. For something to start coming apart after only a little over a year of use is not durable to me. I contacted Peg Perego today and they told me again, this item was not warranted and said I could go online and purchase another cover. I'm sorry, but after what I paid for this highchair already, they are not seeing another penny. I told them I would "share" my experience with those who might be in the market for a new highchair. I know now, after spending more time with other moms there is no need to spend this kind of money on a highchair. I have MANY friends who are extremely happy with the Fisher Price brand.""

"We started using this chair when my daughter was 6 months old. I loved how we could adjust the recline/height as she grew and the neutral colors fit in nicely with our decor. The seat itself as well as the two trays are showing very little wear after 7 months of frequent use (stay at home mom).
I do, however, have two complaints: (1) the tray doesn't come as close to the baby as I'd like. We have a tiny little girl and it seems as though half of her food fell into the gap between her body and the tray (good thing the seat cleans up so well). (2) The safety belts don't clean up nearly as nicely/easily as the seat. My daughter loves red sauce and due to my first complaint, quite a bit ends up in the seat and on the safety belts. I wipe the belts down after every meal with soap and water but they're still really stained.
My sister bought a Chicco highchair around the same time for her son and hasn’t had these issues. My daughter uses my nephew’s chair when we visit and I have to say that I like it better."

Cons:
"I don't really understand the complaints on this highchair. I started my little girl in it at 3 months without the tray, so I could start introducing her to "sitting" & "eating" with us. Straps were easy to use (adjust & remove shoulder straps later on). The tray may be a bit high now that I read the reviews, but I never thought that before because my baby could reach her food when I started using the tray for finger foods around 5-6 months. I use the protective tray for her food, so I've yet to see any paint chipping (10 months old now & eats everything I put on her tray). Its easy to clean....there are crevices on every hairchair to clean....but its not hard to clean. I clean it after every feeding in just a few minutes and it still looks like new. Love that it lowers & reclines....my baby sometimes fell asleep in it when she was 3-6 months old. Love that you can wheel it around.....easy to collapse once you figure it out. And its a lot sturdier than the other models we "tested" in the store."
Pros:
"I have no idea what some of you are cleaning your highchairs with, but after 16 months of abuse from my now 19 month old son, my chair still looks new. I find it easy to clean, for a highchair. If need be I'll actually take the straps & cushion off & thrown them in the wash on gentle, then air dry. I don't have one stain or even any signs of wear & tear. My concern is what kind of chemicals some of you are using on your children's eating surface, to cause paint to chip off.
I'll be honest, I questioned getting a different chair, just based on price & concern of the chair being such a light color, but my husband & I both agree it was actually one of our smarter purchases. I love the multiple height adjustments that allow our son to safely eat dinner nightly with us at the table. He feels like such a big boy. Good luck to all of you 1st time parents trying to make the right choices. To the people who posted that they like their new Fisher Price chair just as well or better - Have you had you're children's LEAD LEVELS checked recently? Just a thought...."
Pros:
"My daughter is now 15 months old and I have really enjoyed this highchair with a few exceptions. The chair is very easy to clean with the vinyl seating. The straps are a little loose on the tighest setting which allows my daughter room to try and get out. When you remove the tray or slide it back a bit, it is very hard to lock back in to place. Several times I thought it was locked only to have my daughter slide it out. It is a real struggle to get it back on if you remove it entirely. The tilt back seat and height adjustment is the nicest feature of this chair. Overall I would suggest it to a friend and I would buy this chair again. It is very sturdy and rolls around with great ease, unlike other chairs I have used in which the wheels stick and scratch the flooring."

Cons:
"I thought the Pappa Diner was stream-line for a modern home and would live up to all the great reviews posted here and the fact Peg Perego markets it as award winning. What this chair lacks in function are not worth the pro's of style it provides! I found that the tray is too high and does NOT snug up tightly for a mesh free lap. - and my son is not tiny!! He's 1 yr old and at the 75% for high/weight. Other disappointments... The belt is loose around the waist, this is at the tightest setting. The seat cushion seems like it would be easy to clean (ours is white leather-like) HOWEVER all the grooves make it VERY time consuming to clean! I've used a few other chairs at a friends homes (cheaper brands) and found they are much better when it comes to these details that make clean-up easier. [...]"
Pros:
Cons:
"I didn't want to believe it. I had read the comments about it being hard to clean, but really liked the sleek look and style. I have the Peg Perego car seat and stroller and like those products. However, the high chair is too hard to clean. Although the sides snap off, the back does not remove from the seat. Even worse, the lap belt can not be removed (to clarify, the shoulder straps can be removed, but not the lap belt). Once food or formula spills, it soaks into the lap belt and the seams of the seat. You can only surface clean it so it eventually starts to smell. In addition, I have only been using it for 2 months and the material on the seat is already wearing to the point that the foam is exposed. I wish I had gotten a different high chair now."
