"This product is very well made and my 4 year olds have no problems with it, 3 year olds can't reach the peddles yet, but enjoy it anyway. The handle bars are very well made. I like the fact that they go down on either side of the front tire. Makes it easily turned. This product is better then all the others in this rideon. The plastic is thick and will wear along time. I think this was a great purchase and a..." Read Full Review

"Easy to put together. Instructions are not specific but it is common sense. For those that lack it or moms that are not so handy, there is a part that they include, that isn't labeled specifically. This part is the part that you pound on the end "nuts" with. Pretty straight forward, but not good instructions like I said if you are someone not very handy. The funnel looking part has a grove designed for the..." Read Full Review

"We bought this big wheel after researching reviews on others, as a Christmas gift for our 3 1/2 year old son. This was an easy choice being that it sounds that the "original big wheel" is a piece of junk! We are VERY happy with this purchase. It was a fairly easy put-together, which Santa appreciated at 2am Christmas morning. We both grew up with big wheels, and were almost as excited as our son was on Christmas morning! The design is perfect, it looks as great as it works. Our son braved the pouring rain Christmas morning and put it through the test, up and down hills, through puddles and over bumps. It has solid construction and well worth the extra money compared to other big wheels. The flag is a cool accessory, and as my husband noted, also a great safety feature; serving to increase visibility for cars. There aren't a lot of decals and stickers, perfect for our son, who got it soaked the first 5 minutes he was out on it. We would highly recommend this big wheel, and it looks like it will last for a long time, with the seat adjustment enabling it to move back 2 more notches, and probably accommodate his growth for at least 3 more years! Radio Flyer proves again to only put out the best!"
"My husband and I bought this for our 4 year old son's birthday. We were looking for something very durable, because our son is VERY TOUGH on toys. This big wheel so far has been through alot of tests. He has now mastered doing 360's on it. Our son is very proud of it and will ride it for hours. This is a very well built big wheel and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. I hope that it will live up to the standard of the old big wheels that we grew up with. We love it so far."
"I just bought this for my 3 and a half yr old son. He is 44 inches tall and fits perfect in the first rung of holes for the seat (there are 3) I cannot express how much excitement this big wheel has given him. This is very sturdy, and it has such a neat feature, if you go really fast and turn, it skids and spins sideways. He is very rough on his toys and this keeps up with him! The flag in the back gives this big wheel an added bonus. I would say a must have for your rough and tough little guy."
Pros:
"We were so excited to get our 3-year old a pedal toy for his birthday, but very disappointed by this toy. The age range states 3-7, and our child is on the tall side for his age, and there is no way he can pedal this at all. My husband even taped blocks of wood on the pedals, but it didn't do enough. The toy does look very nice, and occasionally he will get on it and push it around with his feet on the floor, so there is hope that he will enjoy it when he finally grows into it."

Cons:
"Very cool big wheel. The flag is fun and comes off for even more fun to put on other bikes or forts. This says it is for 3-7 year olds, but really it is for 5 year olds and up. My son just turned 4 years old and is able to pedal it while going straight, but can't reach the pedals when he turns the handles (and he's pretty tall for his age). He also has trouble seeing over the handlebars. My other son who just turned 6 years old actually fits it very well.
I would recommend 5 year olds and up for this one."

Cons:
"we ordered this big wheel style tricycle from diapers.com and do not regret it...[...], excellent quality, much better than orig big wheel which sells for similar price...although the orig is slightly lighter weight which my kid brother remembers as part of the fun making it skid and spin easily...but he also remembers the tires breaking easily too which won't happen on this very durable radio flyer product. the flag is an excellent safety feature for outdoors. my 2 yr old can't reach the pedals yet, but that doesn't deter him from having so much fun on it inside and outdoors :)"
Pros:
"The Big Flyer is AWESOME. Got 2 today for my 4 year old twin boys and they love them. We previously bought cheaper big wheels and what a mistake that was. These are built very sturdy. You can tell just buy putting them together that they are high quality. My boys love them. Thanks Radio Flyer."
"Bought the Radio Flyer Big Flyer for my grandson age 4 for fun at my house. He loves it and we love to watch him ride. He races in circles with his sister who has the Razor bike. The seat is hard and left marks on his back to we padded it with a towel and duct tape right now until I devise something a little better. All in all though, well worth the money spent to see all the exercise and fun he is getting!"

This part is the part that you pound on the end "nuts" with. Pretty straight forward, but not good instructions like I said if you are someone not very handy. The funnel looking part has a grove designed for the nut to fit in it. The other end, is the end you use a mallet or hammer to pound in so it locks in place, and wheels stay on. You'll know what I mean after beginning assembly. Also this is not built for a 3 year old just turning 3. More like a 4 year old or close to it. My son is 38 or 39 inches tall and barely touches both pedals, when seat is all the way forward. A block extension is needed that I will build out of wood. Simple for me but not what I want to do, since the box does say 3-7."
